Trisphee actually has run text games in the past, not even any art to go with them. But we also have a really good writing staff! And we try to keep the level of interactivity high enough to where you're not reading a full chapter of story before you get to do something, because we know that turns people off.

Demonskid 10-27-2014 05:27 PM

I kept dying in the one text game! ono I got ate by hair! evil labyrinth 3<

Awen Moonshine 10-27-2014 05:37 PM

I keep hearing about those sites but I've never been to them... I've got accounts on GaiaOnline (more or less abandoned), Neopets(abandoned), Kingdom of Knuffel(rarely on there), UniCreatures(rarely on there), UniFaction and Aywas... My name is the the same everywhere except KofK where I am known as Alith Anar ^_^ Please feel free to add me as a friend on any of those sites ^_^ I'm also on Kinsaki and Zantarni but both are pretty much dead now... :(

Sorry, I didn't realize it would make you wait. :p-tongue:

If it doesn't gender properly, though, let me know - I'll try again.

trystan830 10-28-2014 10:53 AM

you can gift eggs and hatchies. you can only trade hatchies and adults.

also i saw somewhere since there's all these new critters out that (temporarily) you can have 6 eggs as opposed to 4. but i don't think you can trade them though.

Demonskid 10-28-2014 06:25 PM

Temp new eggs.. I should try to find some. I never do have good luck getting 'event' eggs xp

Yeladim 10-28-2014 07:04 PM

I never do well at events so I usually don't even try. The last Uni egg event, I didn't get any eggs until they decided to really open up the number given out.

Some people. LOL Not all, if the story's good.

Yeladim 10-28-2014 07:34 PM

You are looking a little blue there Tam.

*throws Tam on a fire to warm her up a bit*

trystan830 10-28-2014 09:50 PM

my extent of special eggs is i get them on magistream; it takes a few days for me to get them on unicreatures; and dragoncave i totally miss and then some wonderful person is able to teleport them for me. (except halloween. i get those eggs with no problem.)

We've got the storybook for those people!

trystan830 10-29-2014 04:30 PM

Did you say "Storybrook"? ;)

Lawtan 10-29-2014 06:18 PM

Tam...why are you in a fire? xD

Pyrokat23 10-30-2014 08:15 AM

Why do I lose a token for the Crane game even if I don't actually play (when I leave the page?) *trying to hoard coins but I keep losing them every time I visit/leave the page. XD

Awen Moonshine 10-30-2014 08:30 AM

You get 3 tokens to use per day, any left over at midnight server time are wiped and replaced. Also be careful not to put the token in the game if you aren't playing for an item as when the item switch happens it'll eat your token too...

Yeladim 10-30-2014 11:48 AM

I found that second part out the hard way Awen. Went back and, "where did my tokens go?"

Pyrokat23 10-30-2014 11:49 AM

Thanks, Awen! Good to know. :)

Yeladim 10-30-2014 12:03 PM

Hey, I'm now nostalgic.

I wonder what about?

Hey kids, did I tell you about the time when I was a kid? We didn't have a TV so we spent hours just staring at the wall. You don't know how good you got it.

Awen Moonshine 10-30-2014 12:12 PM

No problem ^_^ I like to help where and when I can ^_^

I spend hours staring at all sorts... Walls included... But I'm just weird... ^_^;;

trystan830 10-30-2014 12:29 PM

counting ceiling tiles is fun!

i like the picture of a woman using a card catalog, and it's titled "Prehistoric Googling" ;)

Espy 10-30-2014 12:40 PM

I have a habit of sitting on the ground and staring at the wall...but I guess depression does that ^^;

trystan830 10-30-2014 12:41 PM

:(

oh, i also read. and crochet. sometimes kinda at the same time...

Yeladim 10-30-2014 12:54 PM

I wish I had more time to read.

Watched a movie called, I think, About Time, where the men in the family could move backwards through time to earlier memories, and change things if they like. The dad used his power to go back and read. He would live his day and part of his day was to read for an hour or two. And he would keep reliving that hour since he would remember what he did.

trystan830 10-30-2014 12:57 PM

that sounds really cool, Yeladim. i love time travel too. makes my brain leak out my ears, but i love it. last year's NaNo and this year's NaNo have to do with time travel.

Tam I am 10-30-2014 02:41 PM

Boook!

Because some kind soul was thawing me out! XD

I stare at walls, but the floor's better. It's easier to make pictures out of the lino pattern than out of the white paint. :p-nod:

But I often have my kobo open beside me as I work on the computer, so I can read while things load. And I think this is the first time in awhile that I've had less than three books on the reading roster at once. And last night and the night before I stayed up too late watching 'Agents of SHIELD' on disk.

trystan830 10-30-2014 02:44 PM

i love my books. while i have a tablet, it's not for reading. that's what my books are for. =)

(and i really have tried reading things on my tablet or on the computer. i like printed out copies much better.)

Tam I am 10-30-2014 02:48 PM

I find that using my Kobo is easier than a book because it takes less space, and I don't have to hold it open. Reading on the computer can bug my eyes, but the Kobo never has. Also, I can get free books with no funny smells or squished bugs with the Kobo. And I've run out of room for keeping paper books, pretty much.

trystan830 10-30-2014 02:52 PM

i've found i only buy books for series that i really enjoy (Vampire Diaries, Dune, A Song of Ice & Fire, the Kinsey Millhone series) - the rest i get from my library. i love my library too. =)

Tam I am 10-30-2014 03:00 PM

All my books are ones I have or will read several times. lol But I've avoided libraries since that four year battle with bedbugs that I had.

I love printed books. I have boxes and boxes of them that I haven't yet unpacked... I need to work on that.

You can get bedbugs from the library?!?
In that case, I'm not in such a rush to get a card for the local library...

trystan830 10-30-2014 04:07 PM

@Tam: eek!

@SolarCat: LOVE that skirt!!

Oh, thank you Tam, now I'm never again gonna read a book in my bed! XD

Espy 10-30-2014 04:52 PM

Ugh, don't even...I fought with bedbugs a couple semesters back; that was horrible.

withoutwords 10-30-2014 05:44 PM

I've been thinking of investing in some type of e-reader just because I'm tired of having to get rid of books every time I move. And also because I have no more shelves for books but I don't own nearly enough of them.
