It's not so much the believing in me that's the issue so much as trying to draw something and getting disgusted with my lack of natural talent and learned skill and throwing the pen/pencil down and not attempting art again for the next approx 3-5 years. Repeat.

Well, I've tried paint, pencil, pen, and digital. I've tried avatar art, animals, people, plants, etc.
About the only thing left to try would be clay. And unfortunately, sculptures of my OCs would take up far too much room. I partly blame my parents. Because my older sister was very competitive, to keep the household peace, anything she was good at, I was discouraged from doing. So she got to learn to play piano and sing and all her art in school was praised. And I learned clarinet and was miserable because my art and other things never measured up. |

Yours looks super snuggly wuggly. :3 Kaderin I can relate to this so hard. I have an older sister who draws, but mostly just horses. Since she started drawing, I've been interested in it, too. Sadly, my lack of natural talent is apparent and I have like little to no motivation most of the time to draw anything. That's partly the reason as to why I want to use my Club Thread to kind of force myself to draw something. I could never do it as a job, though, cause I would totally die if I had to draw things for someone by a certain due date. |

My style is developing veryyyyyyy slowly. I just can't will myself to draw everyday. What kinds of crafts do you do? I've been wanting to get into things like sewing and knitting, and eventually move onto cosplay and armor/weapon making. |
I do loom knitting, chainmaille (mainly just jewelry, but I really want to learn actual clothes shaping for other stuf), and plan on learning scalemaille. I can do knitted scalemaille with my loom knitting, but would like to do regular for other stuff. I used to embroider some but, of course, my sister started doing it and I lost interest.
Oh and once I can afford a sewing machine, I want to learn to sew also. |

I am jelly. I'm hoping once I move I'll be able to get started on my hobbies. You shouldn't let ur butthole of a sister ruin things for you. I would know, I have 4 sisters (technically 5 now since my mom got remarried). Its always been competitive and still is, but I try not to let that get to me and ruin things I enjoy doing. |
