I at least like to use them as an opportunity to stock up on fortune cookies from villagers, but I keep getting the clothing one instead of the others I'm after.

Yeah, I'm afraid of how the trend will develop. Less effort on event items and more on leaf ticket ones? I don't mind making purchases every now and then for a well developed app, but not for gambling items.

New fishing event! 1/2 of people on my friend list are wearing the octopus bucket hat. I'm hoping to earn the sea turtle pillow before the end.

Anyone else having a problem with rugs since the update?? I have two of the small cracker rugs on one side of my camp and when I went to re-decorate the other side I took out the rug and tried to put another one down but it said I had "no room". Dx I had a rug and the two cracker ones out prior and had no problem. x( So it's likely cause of the update. I sent feedback about it so I hope they change it back. :c

It might have to do with the position of the rug or items? I remember messing with rugs before, and it said no room but I think I moved something around...maybe even to the other side, but not really sure...and it worked. Or maybe some rugs take up more slots than others?

Game is officially pulling a PoGo on me since last update and just keeps popping up with the "lost connection try switching locations or come back later" type message unless I have wifi.
But it used to run just fine without.

Don't seem to have fixed my issue. Unless they did so in the last 2-ish hours. But yay for some fixes!

They still need to fix the bug that erases your outfit change the next time you open up the game. Dx It's gotten on my nerves.

Do you change and then exit? I've made a habit of moving locations before exiting any time I sell/change/catch/etc. things to make sure the progress is saved.

Nah I'll change it and continue playing some of the time and the next time it resets the game(meaning the next time I see the title screen) it'll go back to my previous outfit. D:

But I found out that after changing if I quickly switch out an item I'm wearing and then put it back it'll stay. o___O Meaning the change won't go back to my previous outfit.

So they long since fixed the outfit bug. xD

I have discovered that the issue I was having is not something that they'll be fixing. They actually changed the game to require wifi to run. So I can never play it, which makes me sad.

My wifi stinks so it has to load a lot, and sometimes makes me go to the title. Which is annoying. Dx

My wife has been complaining about the game almost not being worth playing. The only rewards that are really worth anything are the ones you can't get from normal gameplay.

She was also complaining about someone who loaded up her garden full of the highest-tier flowers with the lowest-tier butterflies. She said she usually tries to be tolerant of people, but that stunt was enough to get her to punt him off of her friend list.

i haven't been playing the game at all recently. there's just. so many leaf ticket items, and not enough ways to earn leaf tickets, you know?

that, and i barely have enough bells and resources to actually continue making items and such-- it's fairly hard to earn more without using request tickets and calling cards.
