"Aww, you're just too sweet~" She tilted her head and intercepted the kiss with her lips, gently running her tongue over his. She pulled her face back a bit, licking her own lips, as if pondering a taste, "Yup..sweet to the core~" She smiled a bit, "I think I'm addicted~"

William was also savoring the taste of her on his lips. "You're addicted? Hmm, well I could never deny a lady her guilty pleasures. I suppose I'll just have to continue to supply you." He leaned over and kissed her, nipping at her lips slightly. "Good enough to eat." He said with a sly grin.

"More like devour~" She moved so she was on top of him, propping herself up with her arms, hovering above him, "I'd ask you to join me in a shower; to save water and that, but I don't think we'd get much..cleaning done.." She chuckled a bit, kissing him on the forehead, "But you're more than welcome~" She moved out of the bed, grabbing the thin white slip she wore under dress and taking it with her as she made her way to the bathroom. She'd need at least something until she could either get hers washed or find something else to wear.

William watched her as she walked, sucking in a quick breath. He was incredibly tempted to join her. In fact he almost spouted some line about getting double the clean with too people, but figured that would be much to corny. Instead he simply grabbed his boxes and pulled them on and then grabbed a few extra clothes for her. "You can where these," He said as he followed her and handed her the pair of shorts and large t-shirt.

Artemis turned around, "Oh~ I get to wear your clothes now~" She giggled slightly, "Does that mean, if you stay at my place and things occur, you get to wear mine~ Oh you'd look so..." She trailed off, unable to complete her thought as she burst out laughing. Before he could react, she hurried behind the bathroom door and shut it, still laughing as she locked it.

William grinned and called through the door. "I bet I'd pull them off better." He laughed. He turned and leaned again the door for a moment, still laughing. What could he say, her laugh made him laugh. He moved back to his room and pulled on his pants.

Artemis quickly got herself showered and dried off before changing into William's clothes. She didn't mind really; although she definitely preferred her dresses. With a shrug, she unlocked the door and went over to Will; the shirt was obviously rather large on her, "Oh really? Shall we test that?" She grinned darkly, yet there was still a hint of playfulness to it.

William arched an eyebrow, a playful grin playing on his mouth. "Test it? You want me to were your clothes?" He laughed at the absurdity of it. "I would. Really. But as fabulous as I'd look, I don't think they fit me. After all that shirt you're wearing is probably the smallest one I have, and it still hands off of you." He smiled and pushed hair back behind her ear. "Though personally, I like how you look in my clothes." His eyes scanned her form appreciatively.

She smiled, "I can always get a custom one just for you~" She laughed a bit, imagining him in a Lolita dress.

"Oh, you shouldn't go to all that trouble. I think your imagination is enough." He took her hand then and led her to the couch so they could sit down. "I'd offer to take you somewhere for breakfast, but I doubt they cater to your desires, unless I'm wrong. I haven't eaten out in a while." He was amazed how he wasn't bothered by her vampiric nature. He knew it should bother him, but to him she was Artemis. It didn't matter if she were human.

Artemis laughed, "Just because I don't need to eat, doesn't mean I don't. I love human food~ And you need a proper breakfast so we're going!" She leaned on him a bit, resting her head on his shoulder, "You're choice of where to go~"

William chuckled and quickly kissed her forehead. "Alright... hmm, I'm thinking waffles. Let's go to IHOP." He smiled. "Though I should get changed." He stood up, went to his room and quickly changed into some fresh clothes. He came back in.

She smiled, waiting patiently for him to return. "IHOP sounds marvelous~ They do make good food...but..do you think we could stop by my place first? Not that I don't love wearing your clothes, I'd rather not be going out in public like this." She would though; having loved everything about wearing his shirt, but she did miss her dress as well. Odd looks never bothered her; after over 500 years of them due to her style of dress she learned to get over it.

William grinned. "Of course. Though I think you look amazing. We'll take my car." He said. He had to admit that he liked her wearing his clothes, especially in public. It made him feel like his claim on her could be seen by everyone then. He held out his hand for her.

Artemis took his hand and stood, "I do look rather fabulous, don't I~" She let him go for a brief moment as she did a twirl before grabbing his hand again. "I live on the corner of 12th and Main, in the Breir Crest Apartments...I'm sure you know where that is..right?"

William nodded. "I know where that is." He smiled and tugged her along outside. As he walked he caught the eye of his neighbor as the old woman went about watering her plants. She saw his hand in Artemis's and grinned from ear to ear. He chuckled and returned the smile.
"That old women, well from the first time I brought you here she's been telling me that were meant to be and that I should hurry and get you a ring because that was why our relationship never went past friendship." He chuckled and stopped as they had reached his car. He held the door open for her. |
Artemis smiled weakly, "Oh really now? You should have though~ I love jewelery~ I don't really wear it much, other than when I go around attending school every 60 years or so..otherwise it just gets bloody or broken. Necklaces are my favorite~" She gave him a kiss on the cheek before climbing into the car, "Such a gentleman~" She quickly buckled herself in; not that she'd ever really need to.

William went around the other side of the car and slid into the drivers seat. "Hmm, than perhaps I should have listened. It would have saved me a lot of time being jealous." He smiled and turned the car on. He pulled out of his parking space and began heading towards the restaurant. He thought getting her some jewelry would be nice. Not only would it make her happy, but it would show those who saw her that she belonged him. He laughed quietly at the thought. Since when had he been so possessive?

She chuckled a bit, "But, in the back of your mind, you know you kind of enjoyed it~" She couldn't help but grin as he thought about being possessive. She quickly removed herself from his mind, feeling a bit intrusive. She just couldn't help it though, she enjoyed eavesdropping on William's thoughts. |
"Enjoyed it?" William laughed. That had certainly been the last thing he would have said about the experience. "I suppose we could call it that. Not the words I would have used, but I guess that works."

"Not quite? Aw, and here I thought I had a good read on you. I guess I'll have to try harder~"

William chuckled. "Not quite. I'm very mysterious." He glanced over at her and grinned before looking back at the road. He pulled into the parking lot and stopped the car. He undid his seatbelt and then reached over and did the same to her's.

She chuckled, "I like mysterious~" She got out of the car, waiting for him to do so as well, "I like to snoop and lurk and figure out said mysteries though~ So beware~" She winked.

William grinned and got out of the car. He walked over to her side. "I'll have to very careful then, won't I? Wouldn't want you finding out about all my dirty little secrets." He winked then leaned down to kiss her cheek.

Artemis smiled, intercepting the kiss with her lips, "The harder you try to keep them from me, the harder I will try to figure them out~ I'm very persistent." The smells of various breakfast foods filled her nose as they stepped inside. It was almost overwhelming. Their intensity was rather high due to the enclosed area. She quickly blocked it out, glancing around, "Not too busy this morning. Good. I don't like crowds of people."

William chuckled quietly and took her hand. "You're pretty sly, I'll admit, but I welcome the challenge." He lead her into the build and got them a table positioned in the far corner of the room for a small amount of privacy. "Neither do I. Any more than two is a crowd."

"You certainly know how to find a nice, hidden away table." She had no need to look at the menu; she knew what she was getting. Waffles. She wanted a nice big stack of waffles, but, she would limit herself to three. She had a rather determined look on her face for a moment before she replaced it with a smile, "Perhaps we could use it to teach you as well. It would be good practice to block your mind from much stronger vampires. Oh~ We could make a game out it~" She giggled at the possibilities.

"Now that sounds fun. When shall we start?" He asked with a grin. Just after he said with a waiter appeared. "You're order?" He asked. "An omelet please." He gestured for him to take Artemis's order. |
Before Artemis could comment, the waiter had appeared, "I'll just have some waffles..oh! And please do not put that dab of butter on them..I hate that." She looked back to William, waiting for the waiter to leave.

The waiter nodded, wrote down their order and went of his way. William waited for her reply.

"Perhaps right now~ My curiosity is making it hard for me to wait." She grinned, extending a small tendril of telepathy to his mind, curious if he would be able to recognize it.

William could feel her mind reaching toward his. It was a welcome presence, familiar and comforting, but he refused to loose their little game. So instead of welcoming it as he normally would have he built a barricade around his mind to prevent it's entry. "Try harder, Love."

Artemis smiled darkly, "You better be ready for this dear William~" She spread her tendril over his barrier, getting a pretty good feel for it's strength before increasing the strength of her tendril. She took the newly beefed tendril and bashed it hard against his barrier, "Let's see just how strong your mind is~" She repeated the assault with increased strength.

William could feel the crushing power of her mind. It was stronger than any he had encountered before, but he still resisted. He pushed against the force of her mind, trying to strengthen his defense and seemed to do well for a while, but after a moment he could quite keep it together and his armor cracked just slightly.

Artemis smiled a bit feeling the crack, "I must say, you did a lot better than I expected; not to rain down on your skills. I've never really encountered strong minds like yours in the human race." She drove her tendril through the crack, but didn't go rummaging through his mind. He at least deserved a bit of privacy for doing so well. Right? "I'm used to going up against vampires, so forgive me if you get a headache later..."

William chuckled, though he was slightly chagrined, and let his walls down, felling no threat from her mind. "It's what I'm trained for. I think I did rather poorly."

"You did a hell of a lot better than most Slayers I encounter. With practice, not even I will be able to break your walls." She smiled reassuringly, "Besides, I'm sure you haven't had to do that in awhile, since most vampires in town are rather weak."

William smiled. "I thank you for the praise. It's quite diffrent from the kind I'd get during training. There is was all, 'Good. Now do better.' I like you'res better." He then leaned towards her. "Do I get a kiss too?"

Artemis leaned forward a bit, "Hmm..I don't know..I mean, you realyl could've done better after all." She held her face only a couple of inches from William's while she was silent for a few moments. After awhile, she smiled, "I suppose you deserve one for your efforts." She closed the distance, giving him a quick, but passionate kiss before leaning back.

William smiled and leaned back. "If I get that for effort, what do I get for succeeding?" He laughed and reached over, taking one of her hands.
