You know... isn't it a rule if a place *hasn't* been victimized by whatever's ravaging the rest of the world at the beginning of the story, that it will invariably have something bad happen to it?
Corinth seems almost arrogant, with its walls and militias. Maybe it needs humbling... Or we could have downtime. |
I think it needs a Horseman. And no particular hate against Dante. Lev's just revealing his unfiltered side. And no permanent/major wounds caused either.
|
I thought about a Horseman. I just worry that none of us would get out alive. :p
Maybe if we all escaped just in time? I don't know. I mean, the Horsemen are pretty godlike. War and Death are the worst of the bunch. |
Oh, forgot to mention that Lev and Michael are just dim blurs to Dante. Maybe I shouldn't have written "stake-handed man". But the strong a person is in term of psychic and magic, the more clearly Dante will "see" him. If he focuses, he can make out most of Rue's outline.
|
Kinda feel sorry for Death though. All the other Horseman usually end up bringing actual death in their wake anyway. It's like he's just vanilla death. He brings nothing novel about dying to the table. Eveyone else has hunger, disease, conflict. He's just...death.
|
He's the human nuke, the way I see it and that's pretty novel.
I'm actually thinking along the lines of demon attack or a band of 1000 raiders. Something dangerous but still small scale. |
Funk, either that, or the Plague horseman. After all, the group has enough heal-capable people to ward it off.
|
HAHAHAHA~ Right now I'm muffling laughter at Dante's being back-handed. Nice one, Salone XD
|
Salone, Sheol! Help me on guys v. girls. XDD (JK I wouldn't really ask that, but srsly, help!)
|
Sorry Espy, he might have just bit you too. He might have some things he's not telling about his time spent in Tsavo. And I really hate hurting other people's characters. It kind of feels like I get to decide how much damage they take or what happens to them, which feels like a very greyish version of god-modding.
|
Nah, that kind is fine to me...It's the tossing-players-around-without-stopping that gets to me.
|
I normally try to avoid that by only saying the attack and letting them decide damage. Something like: "I shoot the gun"
then you would be like "I dodged the shot." you know? |
Yeah, but that'd only work for near-chat-RP-ish RPs.
Cripes. That's my dagger arm, Salone XD But it's all good, haha. |
Okay, everyone, I've had a really long day and need to get going for the night. Plus, I want to think about what's going to happen next on the large scale, so... maybe give me until tomorrow morning.
Funk, you can RP us leaving the city if you want. Everyone else can keep going too, as long as we don't get too far ahead. I'll catch up with you all tomorrow. |
Okie, then, though I may not do that, because it could be safer inside the city, depending on where we go.
|
I'm nearly done for the night myself. I have a store to open in the morning. But getting shot every time I need to disappear for extended hours is going to get old real quick.
|
Dante won't shoot the people he's already shot because he feels guilty about hurting those who weren't his targets.
|
There, Sheol. I edited my post to give us a nice hiding spot. I'm going to sleep soon, guys, so you can carry on.
|
Psst, Espy, Water of Eden. You have some.
And I'm out for the night. |
G'night, you guys.
|
Ah, good point, Suzerain. /shot for idiocy
|
Aw, everyone's leaving. I'll just stay here, I guess... Alone... =(
|
Actually, since it's not really -life-threatening-, I think I'll just have him patch himself up with what mediocre medic skills he has.
...When my brain's not dead. |
So no water/Phoenix down usage. AWW...
BTW I got 5 from today's rping...and now it's gone. I'm like the catholic church wen it comes to money sometimes. XDD |
I feel bad but I'm going to HAVE to sleep now :/ Sage, if you stay up feel free to lead Fee wherever. She's too shaken up to make any major decisions for herself anyways. Also remember that she spent ten years with the Network and can probably find information fast if you need it.
G'night all, I am really enjoying this and it's hard to go ^^; |
Yeah, ditto, gotta go sleep soon, too.
|
It's fine, Serra. Everyone seems to be leaving now. xD
I'm one of the cool kids now, I'm cosplaying Jeanne. Well, goggles-less Jeanne, anyway. x3 |
Well, I'm off for the night. I won't be back until sometime in the afternoon. Have fun, and don't kill anyone...that doesn't deserve it.
|
Welcome to the club, Sage. =3 The... um... "almost like my character with what limited clothing Trisphee has" club.
|
Night, Salone.
Yep, that club! ^^ Though, I probably -could- make it better, I'm just broke. I need to make more money from posting! |
Yeah, I was limited on money too. ;; I really wanted a Desert Nomad for Rue's cloak, but even if I could miraculously find one for sale, I couldn't afford it. Plus they don't come in red. =P
Also, I think I'll have your pic done by tomorrow. I was hoping ot get two done today, but the RP's going along much more quickly than I thought it would. |
I freakin' love Desert Nomad, it's my favorite MI, but I've never found one for sale. xP I think it's a conspiracy.
And, awesome! No rush, of course. ^^ |
Yup, I think everyone else has realized the true power of its awesomeness, and they want it all to themselves. > <;
And I've got Serra's pic done, for whenever she gets on. Sage, you're up next. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b8...eenaismall.png |
So Michael doesn't get to play merc. :P
BTW nice pic cupcake |
Ah, it's pretty. ^^ Good job!
Sorry Funk. D: |
no sorrys this will play out interestingly enough, anyhow.
|
Okay, everyone, I'm back. Thanks for not moving too far ahead on me.
I'm still deciding what's going to hit (since the Horsemen are pretty good at the "wholesale slaughter" thing), maybe a Dybbuk (zombie) horde led by a Rephaim. It could make for an interesting situation, if we're not only forced to all work together but to work beside the defenders of the city, at least until we can escape, if we go that route. Oh, and do keep in mind, Dybbuk are much nastier than normal zombies. They die easier (to most wounds that would kill humans) but their spirits remain in the area unless banished, and possess other corpses, even those of already-killed Dybbuk if the bodies aren't burned to ash (using either a laser or theurgic fire). Also, Salone, if you tell me what kind of assault rifle you'd like, you can keep one and I'll edit it into your profile. Speaking of which, putting Fee's pic in now. |
Could you wait until after Dante tags along with Rue and Lev to wreak havoc on the city? XD Gives him something to protect, rather than just defending himself.
|
It's lovely Cupcake, it turned out wonderful once colored :3 I'll have to make sure I put it in my own post once I get home and can save it properly.
|
Yeah, no problem, Espy.
