She nodded as she had now stepped back into the living room, sitting back in 'her' chair. "Like a rock..." She sighed a bit, sort of wanting to leave but she didn't want to leave Aaron alone with Adelais. She knew Aaron wouldn't do anything..shifty..it was Ade that she was worried about. He was always up to no good one way or another.

Aaron smiled a little, "I see." He pulled the katana out of it's sheath. He grabbed a few wet naps and wiped the blade off, after a few passes he ran the blade over his shirt. He didn't want his katana to rust. He placed it next to the chair and went into a side pocket on his duffel bag. He pulled out a gun cleaning kit. He then reached into his jacket to grab the pistol he lifted form one of the people that attacked him at his apartment. He went over to the coffee table and kneeled down, he gently laid the guns down and opened the cleaning kit.

Genevieve watched him silent, a bit unnerved, "Do you have to do that now?" She didn't mean for her tone to get so..snippy but it accidentally ended up that way. She winced a bit, then leaned back in the chair, closing her eyes, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean for my tone to get like that. It's just a bit..unsettling to see you handling all those weapons so...nonchalantly." She shrugged a bit, opening her eyes to watch him some more. "You can continue...if you want..."

Aaron looked at Gene but didn't say anything at first. "It's fine, it's just that I don't know what to do. And I feel weird just watching him sleep like I'm some sorta stalker." He sighed. "And the only reason I handle them nonchalantly is because I know what I'm doing." He ejected the cartridge in his favorite pistol. "I have been handling guns since I was eight years old. My dad had a gun shop." He shrugged as he started taking the gun apart. "And after watching my cousin in a sparing match with katana's I asked him of he could teach me. That was when I was ten." He smiled a little. "I'm also very good with... non conventional weapons." He licked his lips.

Genevieve sighed a bit, "I see..." She wasn't really paying much attention to him right now; but rather more focused on watching him. She had no idea a gun had so many..parts to it. She leaned back in the chair again, closing her eyes, "I think I'm going to take a nap..if you don't mind.." With that, she allowed herself to start drifting.

"Ok..." Aaron trailed off feeling left alone. With a quiet sigh he continued working on cleaning the gun. He glanced back and forth between Adelais and Gene, All alone... He sighed internally as he shook his head.
*** Aaron bit his lip as he put the pistol he took back together. It only took him about forty five minutes to clean both guns. He hummed a bit as he put the last piece back. |
"You know," Adelais began, cracking open his left eye partly, "It is rather hard to sleep with all that racket.." A slight grin played at his lips as he loud a deep toned sound; almost a chuckle but was obviously being too lazy to actually do the sound. He closed his eye again with a sigh, still rather exhausted, "Would it be too much to ask of me to 'claim my reward' from you now?"

"I'm sorry Adelais, I just didn't know what to do. Even Gene is sleeping." Aaron smiled a bit. He stood and wiped his hands on his pants, "I'm assuming that you want some of my blood." He walked over to the couch and gently sat down. "Go ahead." He tilted his head to the side to allow him better access as well as pull his shirt away.

He smiled a tad bit more, "If you wouldn't mind.." He opened both eyes this time, leaning over to Aaron as he exposed his neck, "Don't worry, I won't take much..I promise." He gave Aaron's neck a slight lick before letting his fangs nick the man's neck. After a moment, he bit down hard onto Aaron's neck, allowing the man's blood to flow unchecked over his tongue and down his throat. His eyes started to glow red with blood lust with it becoming harder and harder to find the will to pull away. After about two or three pints of blood, Adelais forced himself to pull away, healing Aaron's wound while he was at it. Seeing some blood as 'spilt' onto Aaron's neck, he licked it away with a purr.

Aaron's pulse quickened as Adelais' fangs penetrated his neck. But he quickly found himself enjoying the feeling. He let out a low moan as Adelais pulled away. He was a little dizzy from the loss of blood, he smiled a bit as he collapsed backwards on the couch. "That was... nice..." His skin was paler then usual. He closed his eyes to try and calm down.

Adelais smiled a bit, "You'll be fine in about an hour or so...I took more than you give at a blood donation...with three donations in one day." He chuckled lightly moving some hair from Aaron's eyes, "Do you want me to get you something to eat?"

"No I'm fine, I just ate about an hour ago." Aaron sighed a little. "But thank you." He smiled as he could feel his heart almost beat out of his chest. He knew it was working overtime to replace the blood that was lost. "Oh um if you want some there is extra pizza in the fridge." He pointed.

He shook his head, "Not really a fan of pizza, but thank you." He glanced over to Genevieve with a sigh, "I was hoping she'd leave...but..oh well.." He stood from the couch, smoothing out his clothes. "Well then...I've accomplished everything on my 'To Do List' today..."

"So was I, but she wanted to talk to you I think." Aaron shrugged a bit. "That's good, I wish I could say that." He chuckled ab it as he laid his arm over his eyes.

He sighed, looking back to Aaron for a moment then headed off into the kitchen as he sensed a presence there. He sighed again seeing it was Sanguis, "Even though it's mostly irrelevant now..what did you find out?" He crossed his arms over his chest, watching her carefully.
The woman narrowed her red eyes as she pulled her hood down from her face, "Rubrum is actually an old..associate of mine. I got him to remove the hit from your little toy over there, but I cannot tell you any more than that." She peered into the living room, watching Aaron for a moment before stepping away from the door way as much as she could. "The smart thing for you to do would be to erase his memories of you and throw him out...I doubt Rubrum will allow him to live for very long. You don't leave and live as he always says." |
Aaron quickly fell asleep, he was worn out. He may have taken a nap before, but now his body needed the rest.
"That's right Aaron, rest for now." Rubrum smiled evilly as he looked out his big window. "There are big plans for you my boy." |
Adelais frowned, but nodded, "Don't worry Sang, I don't plan on keeping him around for much longer. He no longer..interests me." He looked back at the man sleeping on his couch. "He was interesting when he was a mercenary, and all his special skills, but...now..he's just another man who's infatuated with me..." He sighed, putting his hands back in his pockets.
Sanguis raised a brow, then laughed quietly, "You're such a liar~ I know you're still highly interested in him...you're just afraid of a 'real relationship'. Stop being a coward and do something for yourself for once. What could it hurt to get intimate with someone? You two already had sex...that's the most awkward part; getting that from someone so quickly. Now all you have to do is admit you like him and get on with it." Adelais looked back with a slight glare, "I don't need advice from a vile creature such as yourself..especially when it comes to 'love'. And I am most certainly not interested in him anymore..." "Coming from the man who drinks blood to survive...well..either way, I must be off. Bye~" With that, she disappeared. |
Aaron awoke with a jolt about twenty minutes later, he cleared his throat as he rubbed his eyes. He saw that Gene was still sleeping, he shook his head and went to get his gun cleaning kit back together. After a bit he had the kit and the other gun in his bag. He was gonna go and check into a hotel. "Adelais?" He looked around.

Adelais peered out from the kitchen, not having moved since the woman disappeared, "Yes?" He stepped out into the living room, shoving his hands into his pockets. "Something wrong?" Now he could easily just get the information he wanted from Aaron's mind, but that was rude and Gene was always telling him he need more social interaction anyway.

Aaron looked to Adelais and smiled a bit, "If you don't mind, I'm gonna go and check into a hotel." He looked away from Adelais but quickly looked back at him. "It's nothing you did, it's just that I feel weird 'mooching' off of you." He sighed a bit. "And I know you said that it was fine but..." He trailed off confused with his thoughts.

"You're hardly mooching off of me, but if you'd feel better at a hotel, I won't stop you..but..you'd save a couple thousand by just staying here while you look for a new place. It's really no trouble." He shrugged a bit.

Aaron ran his hand through his hair a little nervously, "How do you feel about me Adelais?" He looked at him with confused eyes. "I want the full truth, no bullshit." He watched him very closely.

Adelais raised a brow slightly, mildly intrigued by his question. "Right now, you're just another man Genevieve tried to hook me up with and failed miserably at that. I like you, you're interesting, but...I don't think you're quite who I'm looking for..or maybe you are..I don't know you well enough to make a judgement on that. Personally, I am rather displeased with you..I guess...I don't really know how to describe it. You're a bit of a..wimp..in my eyes. Here's Mister Big-Shot-Mercenary Man, yet you feel bad for 'mooching' off me? You 'felt bad' for lying to Gene? You're whole 'job' was about lies Aaron...what makes lying to her about it any different?" He shrugged, keeping his tone gentle the entire time. He was not trying to insult t he man, he just gave him the truth; as instructed.

"Because she's my friend Adelais. I don't like lying to friends, and as for you I like you a lot. That is why I feel bad..." Aaron trailed off as he messed up what he was trying to say. "Never mind, I'm just an idiot who can't articulate what he wants to say." He shook his head as he grabbed his stuff. "Thank you for all your help Adelais." He put the strap of his duffel bag over his neck and headed to the door.

Genevieve sighed internally as she listened to the two; pretending to still be asleep. She had a feeling though, that Adelais knew she was awake. She cracked open one eye to take a quick peek at what was going on, but she couldn't see their faces as both their backs were to her. She frowned, sitting forward and opening both eyes, watching silently. She wanted Adelais to stop Aaron and have him stay here, but she knew that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
Adelais frowned a bit, "You're not an idiot Aaron...you are rather intelligent." He shrugged a bit using a bit of telekinesis to open the door for him. "Like I said, you're more than welcome to stay here rather than at a hotel, but I won't make you." |
Aaron ran his hand through his hair, he didn't know what to do. "I don't know..." He whispered glancing back and forth between the door and Adelais. He noticed Gene move, he felt like he was being watched by everyone. His face became a little flushed, "I'll stay..." He mumbled, not really sure of his choice.

Adelais sighed, "If you'd rather not stay, then don't. I don't want you feeling awkward. And you..." he trailed off, looking to Genevieve, "Have overstayed you're welcome."
Genevieve sighed, "Fine..be that way Ade.." She stood, stretching out a bit as she went over to the door, "But you're right..I should be off anyway. Bye~" She waved and headed out. |
"I already feel awkward Adelais." Aaron sighed as he set his jacket down. "I feel awkward if I'd stay or go." He looked to Adelais. "I want to stay and get to know you better, but a part of me is telling me to run for the hills." He leaned on the couch. He closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose, "This has never happened to me before."

Adelais sighed a bit, partly wishing to help Aaron and partly wanting nothing more than to kick his emotional ass right out the door. "I'm sorry..that I'm not helping the situation any..." With another quiet sigh, he picked invisible dirt from under his fingers; having lack of anything better to do. "You know, you still owe me a dinner date..." He looked back to Aaron, a slight smile on his face.

"Your right, I do." Aaron smiled a bit. "Where would you like to go?" Suddenly he felt happy. "Do you mind if I take a shower?" He bit his lip a bit. "You can join me if you wish." He winked.

"As long as I don't have to pay, I don't care where~" He was slightly taken aback by the statement of him joining Aaron..but..dare he pass it up? He bit his lip a bit as he debated what he wanted to do. He definitely wanted to join him in the shower, but..he didn't know how long his 'fling' would last with Aaron or if it would remain a fling. Dare he let it become more than that? With an internal shrug, he appeared next to Aaron, lightly trailing his finger along Aaron's chin, "I think I shall~"

Aaron smirked as Adelais trailed his finger down his chin. "Marvelous~" His tone was a little singsong. He grabbed Adelais' wrist and pulled him to the bathroom.

Adelais allowed himself to be pulled into the bathroom, using his telekinesis to close it once they were inside. "A little forceful? Isn't that a bit out of character for you~" He grinned, his eyes slightly red tinted. "Oh, don't let that comment stop you~ I don't mind it when the other takes charge every now and then~"

"I can be very forceful." Aaron gently but with force pushed Adelais into the wall. He leaned in and placed a passionate but forceful kiss on Adelais lips. His hands went to work on the man's shirt, once it was unbuttoned he trailed his hands around the top of his pants.

Adelais let out a purr of excitement as Aaron pushed him into the wall; kissing him back with just as much force. Like he said earlier, he was quite the masochist. His own hands tugging lightly at Aaron's shirt until he broke the kiss, swiftly pulling it over his head. "I know you can do better than that, darling." He grinned darkly, looking forward to this.

Aaron smiled, "I can." He leaned in and bit down on Adelais' collar bone. His hands went to Adelais' nipples and he rubbed them between his index finger and thumb.

Adelais let out a quiet moan behind a low purr. He hands hovered over Aaron's waist while he debated how he was going to get him out of his pants this time.

*** Aaron smiled as he dried off, "Well that was intoxicating." He ran the towel through his hair. He kissed Adelais' cheek as he wrapped the towel around his waist. "Thank you." He smiled again as he went to leave the bathroom. |
Adelais closed his eyes a bit as Aaron gave him a kiss on the cheek. He was no where near ready to stop his antics with Aaron right now; still highly turned on by the bit of abuse Aaron dealt him-granted it was mainly bites and slaps, but boy did he love it. His eyes were still tinted a bit red with passion as Aaron turned to leave the bathroom, wanting nothing more than to grab him and make the man hit him again. "Anytime darling~" His tone was almost a purr.

Aaron smiled as he let the towel fall from his hips. "Oops." He bent down and wiggled his ass while he 'tried' to pick up the towel.
