O.O *narrows eyes* You wouldn't dare...

Lucid: 05-21-2012 06:22 PM

Not the legos! D: **tackles Tiva**

Angel Spirit Girl 05-21-2012 07:48 PM

I say our bonfire needs some more logs.

I recycle some old rolled newspaper as fake logs.

Ginger 05-21-2012 11:22 PM

I've got a broken chair I could add to the fire :3 And I can spare an exra bench for anyone who needs somewhere to sit during the festivities ~

Reyoki 05-22-2012 12:07 AM

*tosses and agilao gem on the fire and watches it explode*

Espy 05-22-2012 12:19 AM

...I really hope we're not burning Legos now. -is ready to sic a robot on whoever does-

Ginger 05-22-2012 01:35 AM

This bonfire is too silent...

-brings out her drum and starts tapping at it-

Espy 05-22-2012 01:40 AM

...-feeds it with more matches and a Bio text-

Ginger 05-22-2012 01:42 AM

Burn Biology textbook, BURRRRRN!

Espy 05-22-2012 01:45 AM

-pages on fungi go up in flames-

...Good riddance to those...-shudders-

Ginger 05-22-2012 01:54 AM

-watches the fungi pages shrivel up into the burning ash flying over the flames and into the breezy air-

-waves goodbye to them with a half smile- Poor, poor fungi >8D

Angel Spirit Girl 05-22-2012 11:18 AM

But what about the newspaper logs I made for you? Don't explode them!

(My family recycles our real life newspapers other ways, though. I suddenly realize that my previous post was confusing because it was late when I was typing.)

Miharu 05-22-2012 03:27 PM

*wanders around* Been a while since I last visited Trisphee. Forgive the noobish question, but what's this here event about? (How do I participate?)

Reyoki 05-22-2012 03:31 PM

You just hang out and post. It's just kind of a "thank you for putting up with us!" sort of event.

Miharu 05-22-2012 03:44 PM

Does it just randomly award you different color ribbons?

Reyoki 05-22-2012 03:54 PM

Yes, but the Silver Ribbons are more plentiful than the Gold Ribbons.

MacSen191 05-22-2012 04:05 PM

Rolls into the thread. Hi all!

Espy 05-22-2012 04:25 PM

Heyas. I'd feed my Gov't book to the fire, but...I kind of need it right now x___x

Angel Spirit Girl 05-22-2012 04:53 PM

*Hands Espy a new textbook for government class.*

Espy 05-22-2012 05:07 PM

This gov't book isn't half-bad, actually, but it's pretty dry.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-22-2012 05:25 PM

It sounds like something that would be dry reading.

Lucid: 05-22-2012 07:40 PM

I never really read my government textbook, I just skimmed the parts I needed to write my weekly paragraphs.
**dumps journalism law textbook onto the fire** D:<

Espy 05-22-2012 07:56 PM

I've never liked politics and government and economics.

Lucid: 05-22-2012 07:58 PM

I think they're interesting to follow on my own, but I hate studying them. :<
Also I hate law. Especially journalism law.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-22-2012 10:14 PM

I read the newspaper's editorial page, but it is rather depressing.

Espy 05-22-2012 10:25 PM

I haven't read the newspaper in a couple of weeks o.O;;

Ginger 05-23-2012 03:16 AM

It doesn't look like anyone is up for late-night bonfire music. :c

-sigh-

Alpha 05-23-2012 08:20 AM

Morning all. I'm actually up and about at a decent hour for once.

Ginger 05-23-2012 06:21 PM

I went to bed at 6 this morning lol....

I should really stop doing that xD

Angel Spirit Girl 05-23-2012 08:03 PM

I may dump reading the newspaper when I start my seasonal job next month.

Lucid: 05-23-2012 08:30 PM

I read the news on newser.com, because they shorten all the articles. :D that way I can get through more information without being bogged down by journalism style writing!

Angel Spirit Girl 05-23-2012 08:48 PM

I just real the editorial page - short analysis on all the top news and issues. It does get depressing, though, with the state of the world now days.

Ginger 05-23-2012 08:50 PM

I avoid the news, but sometimes I'll check out the politics ~

Angel Spirit Girl 05-23-2012 10:11 PM

Both are very sad things.

Ginger 05-24-2012 12:40 AM

Yes very sad, but thus, the future of the United States counts on a smart president so sometimes I keep track of who is winning, and whether or not whoever is winning would be a good candidate. I don't like any of our options, but hopefully things will keep steadying out with the economy.

Kotomi 05-24-2012 11:33 AM

burning textbooks!?
never tried it, I know some other people I know have, sadly one did it when he still had to turn the book back in ^^;;;;

MacSen191 05-24-2012 11:51 AM

I don't really pay attention to the news that much anymore.... at least not the mainstream media. I will ocassinally tune into cnn every once in awhile though.

Fauxreal 05-24-2012 02:13 PM

Don't burn the books Espy! Textbook are actually written to be read in parts. It's teachers that make you read it all at one time.

Alpha 05-24-2012 06:33 PM

No, burn the evil textbooks I say (especially the Lit ones.....so long and dreary)!

Tiva 05-24-2012 06:46 PM

I read a few text books.. the ones i need to.
