Holochrome? That's a new one... SOMEONE CALL CRISTINE!

One of them is literally just a purple/green duochrome polish. One is possibly supposed to be a silver chrome polish. The rest appear to just be basic single color shimmer or very fine glitter polishes. The lighting in my apartment is shit and it was overcast earlier, so I was unable to determine if there is any trace if holo as of yet.
In case anyone wants to research them, it's the Revlon Holochrome line. Update: I spent several minutes shining my phone's flashlight on them and have determined that 4 of the colors POSSIBLY have extremely fine, almost microscopic scattered holo. 2 are possibly just supposed to be chrome finish polishes (gold and silver), 1 is a duo/multichrome, and 1 is a pastel pink/orange iridescent shimmer polish. |
Ugh. typical companies mislabeling their products.
In nicer news, I have a couple more repaints to show off. They started off as virtually identical* Gal Gadot Wonder Woman dolls, but ended up completely different in the end. *(seriously. the only difference was the outfits and accessories.) |
I guess holochrome, they did "holo" and "chrome", but the holo is seriously harder to find than in my Julep "holo" polishes. (They do have visible holo, but VERY small and very thinly spread. But more visible than this new Revlon line. Which is ridiculous because I know Revlon knows holo. I bought their Holographic Pearls holo top coat a year or two ago and it is 100% true holo.
I will admit that I have worn the Amethyst Smoke multichrome color and it is really pretty. |
