A lot of the personalities clash, to be honest. But we might still work together towards what we thought was a common goal, even if the actual goals were different.

Edit: Oooo, I think Fee's going to find a way to be useful finally.

Salone 07-14-2011 11:07 PM

...There's a common goal?

Espy 07-14-2011 11:08 PM

Funkie should check this thread. INSTEAD OF WAGING WAR AGAINST ME IN THE BvsG THREAD.

Serra Britt 07-14-2011 11:13 PM

@Salone, Feenai is a very idealistic woman, who's current life goal was met the moment she left her parents and stopped feeling their fear every day. So she's easy to please and is a follower. Everyone else, however, has some overarching goal that they might be able to reach more easily by working together, even if the final goals aren't the same.

Salone 07-14-2011 11:19 PM

Fair enough. One of my 'characters' is only using the rest for a means for his food, and eventually the corpse of God himself so he can consume it in a bid for power. Which would be rather hard on his lonesome. The other is just trying to survive.

Suz, my knowledge of demons is about as expansive as my knowledge of hockey. How many liberties are we able to take with how demons come to be/what happens to them when they die/what types there are/Do the seven deadly sins actually matter/things like that?

Suzerain of Sheol 07-14-2011 11:46 PM

@Salone, like I said, I'm no expert on demons. Run what you want by me and I'll let you know.

And... Shealtiel is pretty "meh" as far as goals go. :p

CupcakeDolly 07-15-2011 12:09 AM

Like I said before, Rue's ultimate goal - whether it's possible or not - is to take over Hell, so she might be at odds with Lev later on.

Salone 07-15-2011 12:23 AM

Well, this is what I've came up with so far...

The demon that possesses Lev was a lower demon, perhaps one of gluttony if anything. It came in to being over the hundreds of years that Tsavo has suffered. Tsavo literally means 'A place of slaughter', and has been an area heavy with slave trade, genocide, and flat out murder. Death was so common there that bodies were just cast aside and left to rot, hence lions acquiring a taste for human flesh. With as much hate and violence seeping in to the soil, it seems like it would be quite easy for all that to manifest in to an actual being. His first victims were the slavers themselves. Then he took the form of lions. After being put down by a Mr. Patterson in the early 1900's, he has resurfaced after taking Lev's dying body for himself. Of course, his own power has been enough to keep Lev alive. Being a bit of a lesser demon, he desires his own personal gain. However, since he isn't exactly of Hell itself, he's still driven by the things that created him: hunger and death. That's the rough draft of it anyway. I'll probably spend hours with it in notepad and try to make it sound a bit better. Or more believable.

Suzerain of Sheol 07-15-2011 12:27 AM

It sounds good to me. Believable, given what we've seen so far.

What are your thoughts on exorcism? I'm thinking that, given the way the world's overlap, and exorcism would only drive the demon into the physical world, in its own flesh, which would likely be extremely dangerous.

Or maybe it's so melded with Lev's soul that Lev's body is its body now.

Salone 07-15-2011 12:36 AM

I personally like the second option. It's been with Lev for a few years now. Due to it's nature, he rarely ever remembers it. It's screams and needs are whisperings that he can't quite here, or feelings that he can't explain. Almost like an alternate personality at this point. I'd like to say that he has unfortunately melded in to Lev's very soul. Cause I sure as hell would hate to lose him this early.

Suzerain of Sheol 07-15-2011 12:41 AM

I wonder what would happen if another demon tried to possess Lev? That might be interesting.

*totally does not chuckle malignly behind his DM screen*

Salone 07-15-2011 12:46 AM

Torture Lev as much as you please. After his last twelve murders, he probably deserves it. Karma is one fanged boomerang. And honestly, I just enjoy seeing the character in pain.

Suzerain of Sheol 07-15-2011 12:48 AM

Well, there aren't any demons around here, but if we head south.... *rubs hands together* *resists urge to cackle*

Edit: That was post 6,666 in this subforum. Epic.

Espy 07-15-2011 02:48 AM

1.) That is freaking epic.

2.) Beat up Shove around Dante as much as you'd like; he's my little ragdoll.

(Dante: ....I hate you, woman.)

Serra Britt 07-15-2011 02:51 AM

I have a feeling Feenai is going to get some abuse on her too >.>;

Espy 07-15-2011 03:20 AM

-whistles innocently-

Dante: ...Damn you, woman! I don't exist for the sole purpose of being beat up mentally!

Sure you don't, Dante.
