I feel bad for the crabs sold in tourist places around here. The people that buy them never get told what the poor dears really need to be happy and healthy. Those little carriers you get them are not nearly big enough for them to spend their lives in. And especially not all alone.

Hermit crabs! They're all over the place in the shops around here. Tourists love them. -shrug-
