I concur Croni.

-Wiggles about.- You know, I do have to do some papers. -Sighs.-

Cronislee 12-04-2011 09:44 PM

Could be worse, atleast it's just 7-15 pages.

Lioshika 12-04-2011 09:54 PM

The problem is, the 10 minute presentation I haven't really done the research, nor do I feel I have enough to speak for 10 minutes. I know the paper has to be 11-15 pages, but she said our presentation should be less than our paper in detail. . . . So I'm a little nervous that it won't turn out right. I may make a power point and send it to her to use on the day but I don't know. I'm doing the Meiji Restoration's part of the fall of Samurai and how the Samurai spirit and idealized Bushido from the Tokugawa Era continued through their business practice, books, media, and such. -Nods- Finding sources is kind of hard though so it's gonna be tricky for the paper to write but I'm working hard on it.

The others are so so.

Aww poor Liosh -hugs-

I'm glad I have a job and it's semi-decent.

Cronislee 12-04-2011 10:28 PM

How long have you had to do the research?

Lioshika 12-04-2011 10:31 PM

-Hugs back.-

Croni; Err, do you really want to know?

About two weeks. Problem is, while I've had the assignment, I dont' always have the time and I lack motivation.

Cronislee 12-04-2011 10:35 PM

Ah. I'll save my oppinions to myself in that regard.
For my Homeland security presentation I spent a month or two researching the history and methods of terrorism, and even included information that you would not think of when you concider the matter and the threat.

Lioshika 12-04-2011 10:39 PM

Croni; I don't always have time to spend doing it. I don't have a month to spend researching. Not to mention I have been doing some. It's just how I want to do it and I feel overwhelmed between this and others so I end up shutting down and shit.

Cronislee 12-04-2011 10:40 PM

Ah, I see.

Lioshika 12-04-2011 10:42 PM

Yeah. And I have other classes that all feel they are the ones that are most important.

Cronislee 12-04-2011 10:45 PM

are you a senior

Lioshika 12-04-2011 10:53 PM

It says I am a Junior first semester, but I'm 16 credits from finishing my major. It's electives I'm short on. And if the ones from my last semester at the community college transfer, actually WHEN they do, I will only need two semesters more (spring and next fall).

Cronislee 12-04-2011 10:54 PM

Ah.
I believe I graduate around March.

Lioshika 12-04-2011 11:15 PM

Aren't you lucky.

Cronislee 12-04-2011 11:21 PM

Nope. Graduating doesnt mean anything aside from getting a diploma, just like in highschool. Its what you do after the fact that matters. Such as hoping I can get a job in Homeland security without having a military background.

Lioshika 12-04-2011 11:48 PM

Good luck with that.
>_<

I'm hoping to work in like a quiet museum or study history for state or some shit. I don't know yet.
