I used to write poetry. But.. it was a seriously pathetic attempt. Lol. I'm more of a story writer/ role player. =3
Roleplaying's fun, but I never found a good way to start one up, and jioning likewise is nearly as difficult, for me. XD
most modern day poetry is atrocious ><
Contemporary poetry, or modernist poetry? (Or both?)
Funk;; The RP's here on tris intimidate me a bit. Only because I'm a bit rusty. Since I didn't have a computer for nearly three years I wasn't able to write anything. Well, role play wise. I borrowed friends' laptops for awhile, but I never had them in my possession long enough to get out a decent post.

ASHY IS NAKED *Nose bleed*
moodernist poetry funk
@batty I think the one's on here are pretty decent (or maybe that's why they're intimidating) but I'm talking about basic RP's from fanfiction.net... it's embarassing, almost.
-prods Obbie with a spoon, and flees, giggling maniacally-
-has almost no experience in rp- o.o;
i have some Rp experiance but my spelling and grammer is horrid >.>
Funk;; I never really got into fanficion.net. xD; I was mostly.. I don't know. Strictly proboards/invisionfree board stuff. =3
@Ashy I agree with the exception to at least some of the works of Jack Spicer. He had so many allusions in his that the use of that litterary device alone impressed me.
He used the format of one poet, referrencing three other places including a sci-fi movie, Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland, and a 30's folk song. And he's from the 50's...good stuff there. |
i dont really tend to RP
-stretches- boooooooored
@Batty Maybe I'm not going to the right sites for the RP stuff. :/
@Obbie Sometimes I use firefox, and since it has this spellcheck on it, I can have good spelling if I want too. ;) |
@funk yea my mom dosnt want me DL firefox though i need to fix our wireless so i can use my compy
im a good spellerer
@obbie Aye then. Luck be with you.
Funk;; Oh yeah. <3 Proboards is BOSS for strictly role playing.
@batty I'll probably check it out tommarow since it's about 11:45 here.
2:49 Here. xD; I should be getting off soon, so I at least get an adequate amount of sleep. -le sigh- I'm sort of an insomniac. But, I'm also more active and aware at night. So it sucks to have to try and sleep so early.
*hangs out in the rafters*
its almost 6pm here :o
Whoa.. where are you, Ashy?
@pagra Nioce outfit.
@Batty I kinda know what you mean. However, I also went through a relaspe(about a week ago) of sleeping so much, I probably averaged about 15 hrs a day. |
Ashy is from Australia =3
I'm in the same time zone as Batty, so its almost 3am. |
@AShy....are you....in....Western Asia? (Fails to pik up time difference) XD
*see ultima's post.* EPIC FAIL!!!! |
Ulti && Ashy? xD;; I wanna visit Australia, eventually. But the UK is first on my list. <3
Funk;; Oh wow. xDD; Thats insane. But, then again, I could probably sleep that long if people let me. xD |
lol eastern australasia not western asia
@Batty And this is why I'm glad that my daily routine only really needs to take about 8 or 9 hours a day
@Ashy Plz note the Edit in my last post to mark an EPIC FAIL!!! |
Ugh.. my back is starting to kill me from the A/C. WHY, OH WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE POSITIONED RIGHT BEHIND ME? xDD;
I feel for ya, Batty, but are blankets an option?
yea its 3am here too
Funk;; I have a giant, thick, monster hoodie on. But the A/C is so cold, its penetrating right down to the bones.
Obbie;; We should all be asleep.xD; |
Quote:
Should we all pile into a bed? <3
@Batty (earlier post) Dam. That's just cold. Cold streaked on ideas, and chilly from the night-time breeze.
That, and I've been sitting with my back rimrod straight, and, add the chill..xD; Just not pleasant.
I should go to sleep...
