the omen machine is apart of a super long series (like 14 books+++ )
The gathering is also apart of a series kinda
its hard to explain
like the author made it so its a different series than the summoning BUT the books converge in the middle of the gathering series @-@
Uh I suck at explaining
so like the summoning has three books (which is that series)
Then there's the gathering (also a three book series)
From what ive read the characters from the summoning play an important role in the gathering so yeah even though they are separate they are apart of a whole
