I love your use of "across the land" I say that all the time, hahaha!!! It's quite fun and mystical to say and always reminds me of Dragon Age and such, ahhhhh!!!!

i'm going to upload my first drawing video!

I thought I better draw a picture to get used to the difference in drawing on a screen tablet versus what i had before. . . and it was def. tricky also!

it has some serious hard core brush lag when trying to color. So the video has me trying all the immediate fixes I found online and them not really working at which point i gave up but everythng is work in progress.

update: I found some fixes.

Possible issues:
I need to update my OS - apparently High Sierra has some issues with drawing tablets, going to do this in a minute.
Could also just not like filming while drawing - maybe won't be able to do this until I get a better computer.
Found a thread with people disscussing some various other settings that worked, will try if updating OS does not work.

If you want to see my line art and my struggle though - the video will be uploaded to my channel the moment it finishes uploading!

After I mess with all these settings hopefully the lag is resolved and I will feel confident about pixeling. Albeit, still nervous because i've never pixeled in front of myself before . . .I've been a steady draw at my side person for 11 years. . . haha

Sorry to see that the lag was such an issue, but thank you for uploading it anyway. What you got done was really cute. Maybe the tablet can help with developing new techniques? Aside from having to build a tolerance to things not working.

it is super different, and I feel like things look better since I can see directly what I'm doing??? haha. Like there isn't the hand displacement? i guess it would be called?

I don't know how long I get to keep it, only a life time of guilt if I break it D:
