I knew someone with a ferret and they bathed it every day and cleaned the cage often. It still smelled like shit. D; Same with snakes. |

Yeah, I had a friend in high school who had I think three ferrets. They smelled awful and she bathed them regularly and cleaned the cage so often I was like "Whut". Plus my grandpa used to raise them for their fur and he said they were awful pets.

The ferret my friend had was a good pet.. they just failed at taking care of it

I sorry. I had a Bibron gecko. I won't do one of them again. Vicious bastard. His type was also known as the "Crocidile Gecko" which I didn't know until AFTER I bought him ($10, figured what the hell). I also didn't know he could live up to ten years. He died at year 6. I think it got too cold in the house and the heat lamp and heat pad just weren't enough. But we only gave him crickets. Well then the petstore closer to me than where I bought it said you had to coat the crickets in this powder for the gecko. . . I saw no difference. I like to look at reptiles, but I don't want one as a pet anymore aside from a small tortise, or maybe a chameleon (Jackson). Or Anoles because they're just so cute!! ^__^
Let: My grandma used to have skunks. Before me of course. she loved them. Though she said even with the glands removed, they still have a bit of an odor. |
They are super, super cuddly! As soon as I got in bed they would climb up and get under the covers with me and sleep in my shirt

@Let: I'd make a good pet if those are your standards. I'd climb up under the sheets with you, maybe not sleep in your shirt, but I'd be right next to you. XDD

Skunks are more playful than cats though. They play like puppies and get into everything but once you pick them up they go limp and just sit there in your arms.

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif late~ my cats still get under the covers when Kano lets them xD i used to have a geko as well it was a short ailed leopard one.. sadly i didn't know where they are bred in captivity that they will just get to a point they stop eating :( that was hard to just watch there was nothing we could do. Though we had the calcium sand (in case he missed and got sand in his mouth) and we powered the crickets with stuff to make them better for him plus they got fed things to help as well (plus whatever fruit we stuck in there) http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
