Windows Vista

I use Windows XP and personally if I ever get a new computer, I will have no problems paying extra to make sure that the new windows stuff are removed and they put XP on it instead lol.
I've tried other versions and they all annoy me D: |
Unfortunately that's rather unlikely -- good luck finding XP drivers for a laptop that shipped with Win7 on it.
Fortunately Win7 actually doesn't suck TOO bad; you can turn off most of the new flashy stuff and get a very XP-ish experience out of it with the benefit of the modern drivers and an updated 64-bit core. |
Oh I'm not talking about a laptop lol I mean a computer :3
Although when my friend needed a new driver for her laptop she easily got an XP one for about $40. Online stores are awesome lol. I'm not a computer guru so I like the systems that are the most user friendly :3 |

Anyway, desktops are a little bit more likely to be compatible with Windows XP, but it's still a lot of trouble -- if you value user-friendliness, you shouldn't be downgrading like that; the downgrade process itself is the epitome of unfriendliness. |
Her mother bought a disc set of it. I don't really know all the details but it wasn't downloaded through the internet or anything.
I don't see how downgrading isn't user friendly if the downgraded version is the easiest to understand and use. The newer ones don't make a lick of sense to me and everything is moved and called different things. It's just being old fashioned not unfriendly lol |
I use Mac OSX. Currently I have 10.6 on my laptop and 10.4 on my desktop. =)

I'm on a MacBook and it's usually runs Snow Leopard (with VirtualBox that runs Windows 7), but right now I'm using BootCamp and Windows XP. |
hmm well I'm confused just from reading that last post coda XD
I mean it's not like I'm actually smart enough to downgrade anything, I'd get a PROFESSIONAL XD |
Hehe, well, very well then. XD
|
Haha. Never tried to downgrade anything...if it's that hard, I'm glad. *grin* If I ever needed to, though, I have a friend who owns a computer repair business, so...I'd hire a professional too. *grin* Though he might do it for free. *grin* |
Windows 7 ^^
|
I have Mac OS X Leopard on my laptop and Mac OS X Snow Leopard on my desktop. I prefer the Mac OS and the Mac software to windows even though it's more expensive.
