^_^ Interesting. I feel kinda out of sorts with this av, lol. It's all bright and golden. Totally not my typical colors. And truth be told I'm surprised that I had enough items that went together to make it, lol.
|
It was quite a while that I was without a permanent job - a little over two and a half years.
Yup. I have been off on other avi forums, but would stop by just to play the crane game. Now that there is finally an event, I have a reason to post a bunch. I like cute and pretty outfits for my avatars. |
Kilala, you aren't gold - you are silver? Maybe I missed that one.
I'm without a job for at least a year more. |
Kilala - You have a specific way you like your face and hair to look. The layering is always clean and the hair is fresh and sassy, as Faux mentioned c:
Angel - Yeah I know those feels. It took me 2 1/2 years to get a job out of high school. Got my driver's license after my boyfriend helped me buy a car and get settled with car insurance last summer, so I got certified as a Nursing Assistant and got a job 3 days after completing the CNA program. I got very lucky with that, however I've really been struggling financially since mid December. Faux- Are you in college? |

And do you mind if I ask why you're without a job for a year more? Oh, and how long are you gonna be in Japan for? Quote:
So what all colors are you sporting Ginger? Is that a lot of Coral I see? |
I hope you can find a job soon, Fauxreal. <3
Nursing is a good choice of career, Ginger. |
Kilal - Yes! I've finally bought new commons and decided to buy them in my new favorite color, Coral. I love all of the different options with it. I'm also using Sky and Pink. Next color I buy will be Faded.
Angel - I thought so too, but it's been hard getting the hours I need to pay for the basics in life. This profession has also been hard on my back. I use proper body mechanics but sometimes there are circumstances where a person is laying awkwardly and their bed doesn't raise, so I'm having to bend over quite a bit to re-position them. |
I stand all day on my feet at a conveyor belt picking up cookies, and that is rather hard on your back, too.
|
Ginger, I heard if you were a nurse, you could get a job anywhere... is that he case?
|
Angel Spirit Girl - How are the benefits of the company you work for?
Faux - Depends really. I've had luck with 3 different jobs in the last 4 months. It all depends on what company you work for and how everything works. Assisted living gave me a steady paycheck for a couple of months but drastically cut my hours after I switched to day shift from graveyard. I worked in a Group home for a day and that really was a lot more work compared to assisted living. The company I'm working for now is an in-home care agency and I absolutely love the one on one time I get with clients, however I have hardly been getting any hours and it requires a lot more driving. So it all depends on where you'd be applying and which environment best suits the work you perform. For me it has been a hassle finding a great job with decent paycheck. I guess it's either a great job or a great paycheck when it comes to any job out there... |
I get insurance - which I need since my last insurance dropped me.
I get vacation and personal days after one year with them. I get 401k after three years with them. |
Three years? Wow.... that's a pretty long time to wait for a 401k in my opinion. But at least you're insured and will get vacation time n__n There are jobs that don't even offer benefits, or any really worth getting.
|
Yeah. At least it is full time and not part time. Part time jobs don't have benefits.
|
Angel - Yeah I know what you mean. It would be nice to have health insurance but I really can't afford any kind of anything right now.
|
My individual insurance I had was dropping me because of Obabmacare rules. Glad I could get something else.
|
I'm not going to be forced into health insurance if I can't afford it. I'd rather get fined than starve or live on the streets.
