If by kettle you mean a small pan that fits ramen perfectly then yes.
I mean, I also have a kettle, but I imagine doing hot water over the ramen would take a little longer to cook than boiling it in a pan. |

Never actually tried it. 85C has some bread that's colored with the stuff, but it squicks me out a bit.

black spaghetti is done with squid ink. it only has a slightly fishy smell to it, but doesn't taste any different than normal pasta.

There's also noodles made with black rice. They have a lovely, nutty flavor, and turn dark purple when cooked :3
