Kad would loom patterns and crochet patterns be the same because I found a Hello Kitty purse one and I am on the trail of a Derpy purse o.o

No. They are definitely not the same at all. Loom patterns are more similar to knitting, but still not the same.

this mermaid tail though: http://knittingboard.com/content/fre...rmaid_Tail.pdf

Kaderin Triste 11-30-2017 07:26 PM

I started that pattern once, but had to frog it. I plan to try it again eventually.
But what about this mermaid tail blanket though:

If you could find a loom pattern for a cat stuffed animal and then just... not stuff it, maybe that would work?

My problem is actually that I lose count of where I am at, not the actual stitches themselves so I may just go back to woodburning and give my mom all the yarn.

A few days late but IT'S COMING....... https://s8.postimg.org/wh728z2it/Cap...0-17-45-47.png

Yes yes that may work find a big stuffed animal one and leave a back of neck (hole) and add straps they should be easy to wing

.......enlarge Derpys pattern ^…^ add a front pocket too for Derpy

mdom 11-30-2017 08:24 PM

Ahhhh it's the same yarn as Derpy's!!! beautiful Kaderin!!!

XoGizmooX 11-30-2017 08:31 PM

Derpy can hide lol camouflage

Kaderin Triste 11-30-2017 08:46 PM

As far as the cat bag goes, there really aren't any really good cat stuffed animal patterns yet. I'll check the pattern book I have at home just to see what the stuffed cat actually looks like. It might work, but I'm not sure.

Doing an enlarged dragon one might possibly work though. Would take some time to figure out, but definitely an option. I would need to do a lot of conversion math and would need a basic idea of how big the parts need to be though.

Mekatra 11-30-2017 08:51 PM

Wing it, what's the worst that could happen?

I burned the heck out of myself on my woodburner just now...

Kaderin Triste 11-30-2017 08:52 PM

I don't wanna waste my pretty yarn!
T_T
But yeah, I'll probably do some mathing and then wing it. After I finish a couple other projects...
