I think I have more posts on here, in less than a month of having been a member, than I have on forums I've been registered on for years.

I probably have more posts over at GameFAQS, but they don't keep track of post count over there, so I don't know. But, then, I've been there a long time, and there's a mind-boggling amount of boards there. And even still, I'm more active on Trisphee than I've ever bee over there.

When Winter first got me on here, I was frantically posting to get aurum for my perfect hairstyle. =3 Messed up a couple times and had to resell, which led to loooots of posts.
I forced myself to go to bed at about 2 this morning and forced myself to wake up at 10. I'm so happy, my community service is over with at 5 (MST) today! x3 And I get an extra, extra long lunch because the people I work with are sweethearts. |
I remember being almost neurotically frugal when I first joined. I didn't realize how easy it was to make Aurumn, so I hardly bought anything in my first two weeks or so.

I would spend real moneys on items that I absolutely had to have. I like the Cloud rip-off this month, but not enough to shell out for it. =P I hope they keep doing video game characters though. |
I found $25.00 in quarters in my dresser drawer a couple of weeks ago. Financed my MDIs for a few months. :p

Aw man, I love when that happens. Doesn't happen often for me though. I once found a $20 bill in the pocket of a jacket I hadn't worn in a while, right at the end of the month when we were out of money and food.

I found ten bucks at church once when I was really young. I thought God sent it. :p
Anyway, I really like the cape set, but I wish it didn't have quite so many poses. You'd need at 10 to put the entire outfit together. |
Suzerain, I do like your new look. I do wish I could get runes if only to be able to say I donated to this wonderful site...I really do like some of the rune items though.

By the time my rune stash runs out, my birthday should be coming up. Hopefully I'll get some money to donate. Not that I don't have more money at the moment, but I've had it so long, I don't want to spend it.

Mm, I guess I'm comparing myself to my parents, who spend every dime they make as soon as they get it, despite my pleading with them to save. They like to live in the moment, I suppose.

A good balance of frugality and splurging is always best. I had parents who did either one, so I'm torn between them.

I rarely find things I actually want to buy, anyway. Mostly clothes, when I do, and I spend readily enough when something does catch my eye. I just let the little trifling fancies pass me by. I like having a bit of money saved up in case I need it.

You're hardly one that needs to complain about going to bed late, Sheol :p. I did manage to crawl out of bed at 11:00 this morning, for the sake of a dress fitting.
I'm sadly at that stage of life where my savings are dwindling whether I like it or not. I will need to findn a job quite soon if I want my bank account to keep the number of digits it has. |
