Japan did for a little bit and I think China did too. It was the Americas that finally convinced Japan to stop, China grew out of it.

What's the difference in suceding and receding?

Succedding is when you break in half. The USA succeded from England and started the Revolutionary War. The South succeded from the North because of different oppionions. Recceding is whan you draw in of close off. Japan and China both had closed doors to traders and travelers for a long while.

Yes you have Texas, did I forget to include him? I'm going to make the thread now, but I still have uno question. WHy are they suceeding? They want more power, they don't want to be part of a war, ect ect...

The reason why they'd do it now. Many people believe America is essentially ignoring their own constitution and going against it for unknown (to the public) reasons.

Like many bills-state federal (including the health care bill and others) can be seen as butting heads against the constitution which says-if it ain't in here, leave it to the states...such as: Marijuana, Car insurance, health insurance, etc. (Not that I'm saying it's bad....just that there needs to be an amendment to the constitution for it to be legal)
