I would love to do this but I'm not 18 until Friday, and right after that is my finals...How long are you going to be doing these lessons. I only know how to pixel with MS Paint and would love to learn to use other programs.

Arikana 01-10-2012 10:23 PM

Sounds interesting...I'll consider watching it one day. >w<

So what's this joke that's got the four of you in a four-way marriage? owo

Demonskid 01-10-2012 10:25 PM

=w= ari.. are you even interested in learning?

Coda 01-10-2012 11:18 PM

You know, as long as you can be faithful and fair to all of your spouses there's nothing ETHICALLY wrong with polygamy.

Whether it's MORALLY wrong or not is a matter of belief and opinion.

Whether it's LEGALLY wrong is unrelated to either of the other two points.

I would like to learn how to draw on that again. I always got trial versions.. Can you tell me the Info In Pm?

Coda 01-10-2012 11:22 PM

Heads up, Trisphee terms of service prohibit giving instructions on how to pirate software, so unless Paint Tool SAI really does have a free non-trial version, sharing a cracked version or sharing how to bypass authorization/activation is against the rules.

Oh okay sorry and nvm then.D:

How can you be faithful to one spouse when you're with another? >w> #makesnosense

Coda 01-11-2012 12:17 AM

Faithfulness doesn't NECESSARILY mean exclusivity. It means that you don't hide things from your partners. (This might mean exclusivity if your partner would be upset about you sleeping with someone else!) If you showed favoritism towards one over another, that wouldn't be being faithful to the second one. It's all about knowing each other's boundaries and respecting the shared beliefs of what's appropriate behavior. It's not impossible. It's just difficult.

(I'm monogamous but I do know polyamorous people, and historically speaking none of the world's major religions -- including Christianity! -- have forbidden it; it's actually something of a recent development. In terms of Christianity, the restriction to being married to only one person was said in reference to the requirements for elders and deacons.)

How i see it is like a mother and her children. Should a mother pick favourites with her offspring and love one more than the other?

I don't think so.

Yet, her children are not clones of each other; they are different. She can't love them all the same way because they are different people, BUT she can love them all the same amount, just for different reasons.

If a mother spends time with one child for a few hours, does that mean she's being biased and unfaithful to her other child? Nope. She just giving them each valuable attention exclusively once in a while.

Of course, this is not for everyone as even with children, sibling rivalry occurs. It's in human nature to get jealous *shrugs*. But not EVERYONE gets jealous. Just like not EVERY CHILD dislikes their sibling.

Polygamy can work with mutual trust and understanding. Just like any relationship, you need to know where you and your partner(s) stand with no dark secrets. Once everything is discussed and worked out, polygamy can be JUST AS beautiful as monogamy.
