Yeah...my credit score had been surprisingly high (over 700) but has been steadily dropping since almost 2 years ago...

5 of the things in collections only have 2 years left before they hit the 7 year mark, so I'm hoping those will just poof. I can pay 2-3 of the other things and get those marked off, then wait for those to drop, then pay off the rest.

Mine will probably improve once my work schedule at my second job stabilizes and I can rework my budget and start paying down my credit cards and resume payments on my 1 semester of college that went to collections and I haven't been able to pay since the grocery store closed and I got laid off.

Like....even if the smells do get into the clothes, couldn't she just wash them as they sell? Like...someone buys something so she washes and dries it pre-shipping?

That sucks, but you know as long as they don't smell bad it typically isn't an issue.

I am not in debt but teetering on the ridge of soon I will have issues if I can't get a job. I don't qualify for UE cause my last over the table job was more than 2 years ago. I kept myself a float for a good year and a half working under the table but then they decided to drop the position which I don't blame them for. Just now I am slowly sinking into a hole that i can't crawl out of with out a job. And I have done over 400 job apps in the past year with out getting one. So…. basically if in the next year I don't get a job I am gonna just sink into debt slowly until it drowns me.

My mom is in a shit ton of debt, and yeah… she is hugely bitter about it but you know you can't fix prior spending. She should be able to get a new home loan and get most of it covered but now she doesn't want to cause she thinks it is just transferring it. Which yeahhhhh it is. But she can get more than what she needs to pay off her debt, put some into her account and pay off the house loan on a 10 year mortgage. Her credit would go up and her cards would have less than half the limit so by the time she retired she would have the house paid off again, all of her debt settled and a nest egg again. But whenever I bring it up she goes feral on me, yet currently she refuses to give up any of the life style she likes so much.
