He felt a little more at ease and also had something new to be worried about. If the village was exactly like his home, then he would be familiar with the surroundings, which should make it easier for him. He'd just slip through the shadows like he normally tried to do whenever he had to move around the village, and he was well aware of all the safe spots. However, the fact that he mentioned that he shouldn't harm the other tengu made him worry because it probably meant that they would pose some sort of threat to him, "You're not going to make this easy, are you?"

"You are quite the devious one, but I like your way of thinking. It's much better than just waiting," he perched on Ai's shoulder, chuckling at the thought of driving the two out through trickery. Though then there was also the problem with the fact that he had already talked to Toshi and she probably would recognize his voice, and he wasn't sure if Toshi heard animals like she would a normal person, "How does Ai talk to animals? Like normal people? And I must change my voice so that she doesn't suspect me."

Ken'ichi shook his head as he heard Yuu's Voice "No I am not this is why this isn't your village but the one my wife came from" he smiled contently sitting down, he began to make himself some tea sensing Yuu's each and every movement so he could tell him where he went wrong at the end "Oh if you are seen and say or do the wrong thing they will try and kill you at which point you will just appear next to me" he needed Yuu to learn to lean on Nobuo when required

"I can alter your voice so it sounds different if need be, but crows have a more raspy hint to there voice so it will not be necessary" he chuckled once more thinking about how there plan would be so easy "Midosi was only a half days ride away from the town so we will be there in no time and if I take the shortcuts then we will be there in only three hours" he thought on how to answer the next part of what was said "I don't have that gift... Why would I wish to talk to animals? And before you say anything I do not class Tengu as animal's but another civilized race... well all but the marked of course" he chuckled once more moving his horse even faster

"This...It looks so similar to my old village.." Yuu couldn't understand it. If villages were so hostile against each other then how would it have been possible to have the same structure, at least the area they were standing in. He shook his head, "It feels like ths is going to take a while.. Is there anything else I should know before I start?"

"We tengu take on the form of crows, which are animals to you humans," he remembered how disgusted he was the first time he saw a swarm of wild crows. They neither spoke nor acted with dignity, but rather acted like greedy scavengers. Though most of the beings he knew that had some sort of transformation abilities were related to one of the lower animals in some respect, "The marked can never hope to achieve any higher status than they are now. It would be the same as a monkey trying to be human."

Ken'ichi smiled "Now that is for you to find out Yuu kun" he said nothing more on the matter and continued to mix tea leaves knowing as yuu went further it it would become more majestic and colorful to mirror the rank of the people living in the area, he would also see those who would be classed as mark happily working away getting compliments from those who served and unlike those of his own clan they didn't where tattered old clothes but plain ones showing that they where still thought of as people but where still touched with the blood of another clan that had been conquered

Ai tilted his head and listened "So you use a lower form to disguise yourselves" he smiled "Smart, not many people take notice of crows and only see them as scavengers" he complimented his friends races ability to take advantage in such away "I see your point... Yuu was in a tengu state when we first met... he pulled me out of my room and held a blade to my neck... I'm not sure but isn't that breaking your laws somewhere" Ai tried to show some basic understanding of the Tengu as even though they where thought only to be a myth it was a race that had caught his interest as a child

Yuu nodded, indicating that he was setting off. He was a little nervous, now that he was seeing the residents of the fabricated village. At least Toshi had made him decent enough to blend in with the rest of the normal ranked tengu, and in human form it was difficult to differentiate any tengu from a normal human. The problem was that he lacked the swords at his side, and hoped that no one would notice as he walked through as if he had been living there his whole life. His pace should have at least made him less noticeable, he thought.

"Mmm..when I first came to your residence, I found Yuu in his tengu form and punished him for it. A marked cannot use his tengu form without permission from the elders," Kaito cocked his head, somewhat confused and wondering if Ai was talking about a different tengu. The story he had just heard did not fit with Yuu's personality, "Yuu has no backbone to be doing things like raising his weapon against another. Are you certain it was him?"

Ken'ichi raised his hands and his family's blades appeared on Yuu's side knowing in Tengu society how much they meant. "the fun begins" ken'ichi chuckled to himself as be began to boil the tea he had made

A warrior stopped in front of Yuu, the swords at his side caught the guards eye "Young one, where did you get those blades they are magnificent... more decorated than any of the nobles of this clan" the guards voice was inquisitive but also respectful as he believed Yuu nobility of another clan and didn't want to start a war because of something he had said

"Why is it forbidden, I know it seems like a stupid question but humor me" his voice showed a deep fascination of Kaito's tribe as the got ever nearer to their destination "The Tengu only stopped when my sister begged for my life and your kind are not known to stop for a Human's tears... meaning this Tengu must have known my sister and the only Tengu she knows other than yourself is Yuu... So yes I am sure it's him" he saw the forest off in the horison and smirked knowing that in a short time their trap would be sprung

Yuu would be in trouble no matter what he said. However, he did try to play the role to be less suspicious, "I received it as an inheritance from a relative."

"It is forbidden for them because the tengu state makes one more powerful, and they do not deserve such privileges, or so I believe that is the reason. The laws were set by the elders and they normally do not give us any reasoning behind the laws," he was only a young tengu at the time where he heard about the law. Back then, all the young tengu were told what to do and what not to do, and who the rules applied to. It was very strict. Even a normal tengu would have been punished for breaking the rules, but not as much as a marked would, "One thing is for certain, is the mutual hate towards the marked. They could have very well made the law to make them more miserable. And we, the normal tengu, are permitted to give them a high punishment."

The guard tilted his head for a second "I know it is unorthodox but may I see it? Young one" his voice once again respectful as he spoke

Ken'ichi poured two cups of tea just as his wife appeared and bowed to her which she dutifully returned taking a seat next to him "This is dangerous Ken'ichi sama" her voice sounded worried, Ken'ichi nodded to her words "I know" his words where blunt "Then why wou..." She stopped as Ken'ichi brought up his hand as to ask her to stop "This is a test... he needs to be able to blend in but he must also learn how to work out illusions and how to get out of them" he knew this is dangerous as Illusions were only as strong as you made them and as Yuu had never had this kind of acceptance it meant this would be doubly dangerous if his mind didn't want to leave

Ai listened taking the information in as if he were a sponge "Much like an oriental family then" he chuckled "Though we are normally told behind closed doors if it is a family member and not to severely harm them" he began to slow his horse down "I would punish Toshi chan in the house but those damn rune's that my father put up when where both children make it impossible to harm a being inside the house..." coming to a halt he moved off his horse and allowed it to go to the near buy stream to drink "If the balance is disrupted in the house a punishment always comes to the one who disrupts it"

he was just giving his friend a friendly word of warning for when he was going to punish Yuu or even Toshi for making mistakes, at the end of the day Toshi was as much Kaito's property as she was his own "I wish I was born Tengu... much more distinguished than human" but he knew he wasn't human, he knew it from a young age just by the way his mother tried to love him but could never connect to him

Yuu stared at the guard, taking a few seconds to decide what to do but he tried his best to collect what he saw from his past during such situations. He hoped he wouldn't get too deep into his acting while he pulled out the sword with the end pointed downwards and his fingers holding the sword's sides so that the details along the broad end were clearly visible to the guard, "Normally, such swords should not be held by anyone other than those who have the right of ownership, and I fear my family will impose their wrath on you if you lay a finger on it. But I can hold it up for you while you inspect it as you wish."

Yuu produced a fierce glare, as if telling the guard to hurry or else. Though deep inside, Yuu felt sick that he had to act like the ones who constantly hurt him while he was growing up. He felt even worse at how perfectly he mimicked the snobbishness of his family, and how he was treating the guard. But, he knew that neither Toshi nor the spirits of the sword would have wanted the weapon to be held by anyone other than the family or those who were worthy of holding it.

"I feel the opposite. I believe humans have much more freedom..though..beating up those marked is certainly fun," he chuckled at the thought of it. Of course Yuu wasn't the only one he beat up, there were other marked who he enjoyed punishing more than Yuu, but now with Yuu being the only marked left then that meant that his focus would now be on Yuu. And on top of that, Toshi as well.

The guard studied the swords blade as it was held out for him but went as white as a ghost, moving onto his knees quickly he bowed "I'm sorry Prince I didn't expect you to come so soon" his voice was humble believing he had been an annoyance to Yuu" Is there anywhere you would like to go Prince?" he remained in the dirt until he was instructed to rise, after all it was only proper

Ken'ichi rubbed his head trying to figure out why that happened then it dawned on him "I forgot I put that there" he chuckled to himself, once married he believed that it was only right that something of his wife was incorporated into the blade

Ai moved to a near by tree and climbed up as to remain out of site, pointing his hand to the forest near by "That is Midosi forest, the large tree in the center in Ira's tree... Try and sound as distressed as possible" he smirked happily knowing that soon the two runaways would have to pay the price for running away like they did

((oh noes! xD kaito and ai are moving too quickly! Yuu is stuck! x'D))

Yuu was almost unnerved by the sudden treatment and also by the fact that they had been expecting someone, which could mean trouble for him later on if they found out he wasn't the person they were expecting. He wished he could just ask the guard where Toshi was, but the instructions were to bring back Toshi without being seen with her. The sword was placed back into its sheath carefully, "I am simply walking around and exploring this village a little more. I have no destination, for now. ...You may rise. Return to your post."

"This will be too easy," happy as though it were a game, Kaito took off and the further he went on, the more he moved and acted distressed. It all played perfectly in his mind.

((Nah, ken'ichi would bring him out))

The guard rose as was instructed, though hearing his words the guard nodded "Prince..." he pointed to a temple at the top of a hill "The Priestess is over there, I am sure you will wish to see your betrothed at some point today as you are to be married this evening" little would Yuu know that the guard had just pointed out exactly where Toshi would be "Enjoy your walk my Prince" with that the guard would walk off to tend to his duties once more not believing that the prince actually spoke to him

Ai smirked "Like a moth to the flame" he say watching Kaito fly off knowing the inevitable outcome

Ira had Toshi laying comfortably on the grass brushing her hair as she slept, completely unaware of the happenings that where coming her way or even within the training Ken'ichi was doing with Yuu, and at this moment in time she really couldn't care as she, her forest and Toshi where all safe and secure

The blood from Yuu's face drained, leaving him pale. Not only had they mistaken him for someone else, but this other person was meant to marry in the evening, and he didn't want to be there when it was scheduled. He quietly did as the guard instructed, so he could at least explore the temple and be out of the temple before the time came for the marriage. In the meantime, possibilities of all the bad things that could happen ran through his mind and gave him doubt that he could even complete his task successfully.

Kaito landed on a branch of a tree upon seeing Toshi and Ira, surprised by how amazingly the supposed barrier had allowed him to easily fly right through it. He assumed the unfamiliar face would be the dryad that Ai had mentioned and made a ruckus while landing next to them, trying to wake them up as someone might have if they were in a rush to get help.

Ken'ichi heard the ruckus from outside the illusion but heid it unless he was asked to break it "Remember there are two sides of you, you need to rely on his strength as much as your own... after all if you go pale like that they will suspect something is wrong" his words moved to Yuu but didn't seem to be heard by anyone else

The illusionary Toshi would be sat in the middle of the temple garden humming the lullaby she had done before while doing her studies of magic, she wore bright baby blue and baby pink robes to reflect her possition within the tribe

Ira heard the squaking from the branchs above and jamp slighty startled at the sudden noise, slowly and gently moved Toshi's head off her lap as not to disturb her, but with way Kaito entered gave her cause for concern "Okay, okay... calm down your talking to fast I can't understand what your saying" her voice showed concern from him, she was a dryad and it was only natural for to show worry for another being of nature

Ken'ichi had a point, but Yuu didn't know how to draw out his other side. He figured that it had to do something with his tengu form, but how to use it without having to switch was going to be a problem. Wake up! I Need you! he shouted in his head, hoping that the dormant other self was awake enough to hear him.

Kaito cawed out loudly and flapped his wings, walking back and forth as if motioning that he were signaling her to follow him, "Please help me! I need help...I can't save her by myself..." Kaito sobbed, and acted horribly stressed. He stopped moving around so quickly and stood there shaking.

Ken'ichi watched from where he was sat "it doesn't work like that... It's more subtle, but with practice you will get there" he tried to be supportive on the matter but he had never had to deal with anyone with a splintered spirit before so it was going to be tricky on how to help him learn

Ira follewed him a bit but then realized that he was needing help outside her domain "I can't go out there" she sounded worried and bit her lip "Who is it that needs help?" she needed to know who would be the best one to send for this task

He wondered exactly what Ken'ichi meant, but he soon came up to the temple, having traveled a little faster than he expected. He kept reminding himself not to give off any hints that there was anything wrong, and walked closer the the building.

"My mate...our nest...it was attacked and now she is badly injured. Please help," Kaito cried. He felt proud for making such an act and deceiving someone who was probably older than he was. He also found great amusement from it.

Toshi who had woken up and moved to Ira hearing the comotion looked at the Crow and smiled "It would be my honor to help your mate" as always her voice was warm. Ira bit her lip not wanting her to go but she had no other option fairies where to mischevious and she couldn't leave "Ken'ichi... your going to have to pause your training, Something has happened and Toshi will need a guardian" her words cooed to the entranced Ken'ichi who slowly and carefully brought the illusion to an end

"We will begin when we return" with that he faded back into the sword that Ira had placed on his side after his training had began "Keep an eye on her" her words where warm but it was cold enough to put a chill up anyone's spine

Toshi looked up to the crow and smiled "Okay lead the way" as soon as Kaito flew off she would follow close behind on slightly more stable legs than she had done the day before, totally unaware that she and Yuu where walking right into a trap

Yuu felt that something was a little off and walked with his hand on the sword. He had some comfort in knowing that he was carrying a weapon to whatever place the crow was leading them. However, Kaito on the other hand would feel mortified that Yuu had received such an elaborate blade and wanted to punish Yuu severely for touching such a elegant object, more so than just breaking any rules.

Toshi looked back at Yuu and smiled but tilted her head slightly seeing him on the defensive "What's wrong Yuu?" she showed some concern but she just thought it was because there had been attacked in the area they where heading to

"So... Where you there when your mate was attacked?" she just wanted to get some information so she could make sure the beings responcible for doing such a hanus act got there just deserts by Ira

"Just...something doesn't feel right..." Yuu breathed lightly, but now he assumed he was probably on edge after coming out of the illusion or something had happened that changed his approach. It was unfortunate that he couldn't put his finger on it.

"Yes, I tried everything to protect her," Kaito cawed while he continued flying ahead of the two. Just a little more and they would be out of Ira's protection. He could just taste the sweet victory on the tip of his tongue.

"I trust you to protect me, so does Ira or she would have send one of the bears" she giggled lightly trying to lighten the mood a little, she thought it was just a figment of his imagination after all he had been training in an illusion and that gets everyone over stimulated especially on their first time training in such a method

She now realized the crow had not one feather out of place which seemed odd to her but she didn't take much notice of it at the moment as she was more worried about his mate "How much further?" she now began to run and though she almost fell a few times she always managed to catch herself

Bears...Bears eat crows... Yuu cringed at the thought of seeing a feast being made out of a crow, blood and feathers everywhere. But then suddenly he realized something: normal crows don't speak in human language. The crow they were dealing with must have been gifted with magic or was another tengu. He came to the conclusion that it was a crow with the gift or was a tengu who didn't raise his ability of sensing. Nonetheless, the pace seemed to have gotten faster and Yuu picked up his speed.

"Not much further," Kaito turned on his senses, making sure that Ai was still in the area, and turned out that they would be in Ai's location in less than a minute. He wondered how Ai would come in. A surprise attack on the two would have been entertaining, he thought.

"Bears don't eat Crows, they eat berrys, fish and game" she chuckled continuing to follow the Crow, she understood animals naturally so it never occured to her that this crow was infact speaking common.

Ai had been watching since they had left Ira's domain, he noticed his sister on unstable legs and knew that she wouldn't be able to break a weak binding but he knew better than to underestimate a potential rival especially someone like his sister and place strong binding seals around the area that wouldn't just entrap Toshi but Yuu as well

Toshi fell to her hands and knees as soon as she stepped in the binding circle almost like she had fainted "Yuu I don't feel so good..." her voice was weak as she fell down compleatly into the dirt

"Toshi!" Yuu stopped and knelt down. Then he looked up towards the crow as it continued flying, "Crow, can you stop for a minute? My friend just fell." Yuu looked back to Toshi and tried to get her to wake up.

Kaito landed on a branch, rage bubbling within over Yuu saying 'friend'. Marked were not allowed to have friends unless it's with other marked ones. Of course his senses told him that something unnatural was happening around the two, and it had Ai's aura on it. And he would have smirked if he could, but now the real fun was about to begin.

Toshi used everything she had to get to her knees, and looked around the area "Binding..." her voice was small but she looked to Yuu "Run! it's a trap!" but as soon as she spoke those words she fell back onto Yuu "Please run" her voice was so low it wouldn't have been heard

Ai jamp from a branch and look to his dear sister and her 'friend' "Toshi chan you looks so weak, you know you shouldn't leave home" his voice mimiced worry but Toshi knew it was nothing but a facade "You could have been bound by someone..." a smirk came to his lips "then who would do the chores?" he cuckled before muttering a few wourds under his breath

Before any would know it they would be back at the Toshi and Ai's family home "Welcome home Toshi chan, have our meal prepared in an hour" he still wore a smug smile knowing for a fact in her current state Toshi would need several hours to make anything up to her usual standards

"This is.." Yuu stared at the place in horror, seeing that they had been brought back to point A. And then looked to Ai and Kaito, whose identity he figured out right after seeing Ai. He shook his head, "You evil monsters.."

Kaito flapped and landed on the ground, taking on his human shape. At least he could use some facial expressions in that form and he smirked evilly while approaching Yuu, and then grabbed Yuu by his arm and brought him up, "You've piled up quiet a few punishments, breaking so many rules. You'll be doing house chores from now on. And if I find you trying to escape again, I'll make it so that you wish you've never been born."

Yuu grabbed Kaito's arm and yanked it off, wanting to kill Kaito and Ai for bringing them back, but he knew that he could do nothing to hurt them within the house. Then it struck him that maybe Nobuo was trying to take over or trying to help him. He would have never dared to grab anyone like he just did, and immediately after that he grabbed Toshi and dashed towards the exit. If he could just get outside, then they would stand a fighting chance.

Kaito became infuriated by the treatment and drew out his blade. He went after the two, "You rat! Did you forget your place!?"

Toshi took Yuu's arm before she could be picked up and shook her head "We are safe here... We can't be harmed" for the moment she thought it would be best to stay, who knows what kind of traps lay in wait for them if they tried to escape

Ai's eyes went wide as he seen the blade been drawn "Do not disrupt the balance of the house Kaito San" his voice showing concern, Toshi looked at the house, she felt the energys shift as used Yuu to help herself up "Please forgive him, he isn't as smart and my friend Yuu, he has the brain capacity of a peanut and the memory of a gold fish" her tone was mocking but respectful all at the same time

She knew nothing could come of it as she was safe inside the house "Yuu, would you mind helping me to the kitchen... I have a meal to prepare" with that she bowed to both Ai and Kaito allowing Yuu to help her, she knew for a fact she would be punished later, Ai knew her routine when it came to left over food, but she would face it when it came to it

Ai reached out to take his family sword from Yuu but Toshi looked at him with narrowed eyes and Ai backed off knowing that it would best not be hasty about such matters, besides there were many ways to get the sword and the main one was through the treatment of his sister

Yuu had no idea what a peanut was, but the way it was put sounded derogatory. He would accompany Toshi back into the kitchen while helping her along, starting to shake at the things that waited for them in the future. Once they had gotten to the kitchen and away from Ai and Kaito's eyes, he expressed his worry, "We can't just stay here..even if we're safe inside, they're going to take us...." He trailed off, remembering what was said about Kaito's background. They had their trump card for at least one person, but would they believe his words?

Brought out a peanut and showed it to Yuu chuckling a bit, she thought he might not know what one was, she had no idea what was in store for them but she didn't like the thought of Kaito's threat to Yuu. She knew had to leave but she couldn't travel in her current state she needed rest and she knew Ai knew this

"I know Yuu, but in my present state we wouldn't even make it near the forest's edge before we caught... then who knows what will happen, besides we don't know if they have traps out there" she let out a sigh and began the task of making the food for them all "I will not let Kaito make you eat terrible things again Yuu, and I'll still help you to read and write... when we can find the time" she knew that their time would be slim but she'd enjoy what time they had together

"give me enough time to rest up and I can feel for barriers and traps" shewas begining to wobble a little on her feet, just to hear Ai calling for her, letting out a sigh she stopped what she was doing and headed to the mainhall to see Ai sitting at the table "Tea" with that he waved her off dismissingly, with a bow she headed back to the kitchen to deal with that ontop of the cooking

"This is horrible.." Yuu was depressed not only over the fact that they were now stuck in the house for the time being, but also the fact that he probably wouldn't be much help to Toshi with the chores and she still needed to recover. He touched Toshi's shoulder, "Are you really going to be alright? Show me what to do and I can help you.."

On the other hand, one part of him was pushing him to take Kaito down. If he could just drive it through Kaito's head that he was the lower one, it could mean one less threat to them. He was very tempted to walk straight out of the kitchen and right into Kaito's face.

Toshi looked at Yuu as she felt his hand touch her shoulder and smiled gently nodding "I'll be fine... i have worked through a lot worse" she sounded distant as she spoke and began getting the leafs together for making the tea, though she looked to the boiling pot "Yuu would you mind putting the rice into the pot for me" she continued making the batch to Ai's normal taste, she knew for a fact at this moment in time they would be looking for any reason to hurt both herself and Yuu

"Yuu no matter what do not hand that sword over to anyone" her words where serious as she remembered how Ai went to take it "It can not be forcefully taken from you as it seems my family members have accepted you so it can only be given by free will" she leaned on the wall as she began to feel dizzy but pushed herself back to continue her task, she knew she needed to lie down but she wouldn't dare

"TOSHI CHAN WHERE IS OUR TEA" Ai called out from the mainhall he smiled at Kaito finding this amusing. Toshi move to the door and bowed slightly "If you want your tea quickly then stop bothering me... I am also cooking and I feel terrible" with that she walked back into the kitchen before she could see anything that Ai done.

"Seems Yuu has been an influence on her and not in the good way" he growled slightly and gripped his fists tightly, he was going to make her pay for disrespecting him in front of his friend

Yuu tried to do as Toshi had instructed, though was unsure about how much rice to put into the pot. It was his first time doing it. Inevitably he ended up putting in more rice than he needed to and shifted around feeling uncomfortable about how well he did his small duty.

Kaito saw how much Ai was displeased with Toshi's actions, but he could even say that about Yuu. He shook his head, disagreeing with Ai, "Yuu was not the type for outbursts against his superiors. So it must have been the influence of what they have seen from outside the house." He was planning on whipping Yuu later, but it would have to wait.

Toshi looked over to the pit and seen it was slightly over the expected amount to feed the four of them but she knew that it would go to good use "Thank you Yuu, it was just the right amount" she continued with the tea making though conemplated taking away the honey and replacing it with soya sauce, she giggled lightly at the thought of how there face's would look if she done it

"Yuu on the top shelf of the right hand cabinate there is some daifuku, could you get it down for me" as she spoke she brought out a plate "All we need is four... one for each of us" she had finished making the tea and so got the cups and teapot sorted onto a tray. Once done she quickly went about getting a few other peices for dinner sorted

"We will be free again Yuu and when we are, we won't come back here until we can send Ai to the place he deserves and teach Kaito some manners" she really felt that now she was inside a guilded cage, beautiful as it was it was still a cage she feared she would never escape again

Ai listened to what Kaito said and his had relaxed "Nor was my sister, she would have never thought about leaving the family home... but you may be correct and it is an outside influence that has tainted them..." he took a small pause to smirk "But we will have fun 'purifying' them of such wicked thoughts and acts" he chuckled at the tought of teaching them their place once more

Yuu was happy to know that Toshi wasn't upset about his work, and performed the task that was assigned to him. And at least he felt relieved to know that Toshi was not going to just sit around and let Ai and Kaito run freely without doing something about them. Of course he would be there to help.

Kaito liked what Ai said: 'purifying'...at least in their own way. He wondered if he would be able to have the pleasure of punishing Toshi as well and nodded, "Of course you're welcomed to 'purify' Yuu at your own leisure."

Watched at Yuu placed four of the Daifuku onto the plate and smiled brightly "I think starting your magic lessons tonight will be a good thing Yuu" she began moving everything onto the tray but realized Yuu would be worried about her in her current state with magic being involved "don't worry i'll draw off the energy around the house for the lessons" she hoped that it would place his at rest knowing it would becoming from an outside source that she trusted

"We are going to get punished no matter what we do while we are here, just bare with it... Karma has a way of coming back to everyone" she smiled gently picking up the tray "When sitting down always placed the sword to the left hand side when Kaito or Ai around, it will show submission... if they think they have won we run less risk of being hurt and they will drop their guard sooner" she hoped he understood it meant they could also get out of this nightmare sooner

"I guessed as much, after all we are the heads of this household and they are 'marked' I believe the term is" he was trying to clarify so he wouldn't look the fool if Kaito ever said it infront of him "Here we call 'marked' 'Eta'" he brought his hand up to yawn slightly "Eta are non-people... they get all the tasks that are unfit for anyone else" he was unsure if Kaito was aware of such so wished to pass on the information

"What is mine is yours Kaito San, we are as good as family... in fact you are more like family than my parents or sister" he hissed slightly, he had always felt like the outcast, his father loved him but doted on his sister, his mother tried to bond but could never connect and he felt betrayed by Toshi for wanting to marry another

In that one statement he had given Kaito permission to do what he wished with his dear baby sister and he wouldn't give a damn, in his mind it's what she deserved after turning her back on him to follow what their father wanted and to run away with Yuu when she wouldn't do the same for him. His train of thought became unrailed as he heard the kitchen door slide open and Toshi stepping out "Sorry about the wait... I was feeling dizzy" her voice was soft as she bowed to both Ai and Kaito

Waiting for it to be returned she remained in her bow, once done she moved to the bottom side of the table she knelt and placed the tray down knowing Yuu would follow suit. she placed a cup in front of each person starting with Ai and Kaito before placing one infront of Yuu then herself, with this small task done she proceeded to pour in the same order quietly

when this was done she place the teapot down once again and lowered her head a little, she felt uncomfortable and so slipped her hand into Yuu's under the table for support, unless given permission she didn't reach for her drink nor for the cake that sat on the table, not that she would have, after all if her hands where full with cake how could she pour the tea if she was asked to do so

Kaito sneered and growled. He had tolerated Yuu eating normal food at least once, but he was not going to let it happen again, "Yuu, you know full well that you are not allowed to eat such things. If you're hungry, go outside and scavenge for something." He knew that Yuu wouldn't dare think about escaping without Toshi, after seeing how Yuu had treated her.

Yuu squeezed Toshi's hand lightly and nodded. Of course he wanted to argue back at him, but that would have made Toshi's efforts meaningless up to that point. He bowed his head, "Yes, Master Kaito.. I will go outside.." Yuu stood up and left the group behind, walking outside and staring at the world around him. He was sure that there would be traps around the area, and Kaito would laugh at him and leave him there to starve. Yuu sat down, not setting a single foot on the dirt ground.

Toshi listened to what Kaito said and looked to Ai in disbelief as Yuu left the table, the rules where never to send anyone away that needed help. Yet he done nothing to help Yuu "That is horrid, he's a person not a savage!" her tone showed she was angry but her eyes darted around the hous and her head bowed "Forgive me" her words where humble as she apologised

placing her hands on the ground in front of her she bowed as low as she could "Please Kaito Sama, Yuu helps me with the tasks around the house... he should be able to eat properly so he can continue to serve" her voice shook she was willing to swallow her pride to make sure Yuu could have propper food, it hurt her the first time she seen him eatting bugs and the thought of him having to do it again made her want to burst into tears

"You said that you both could be the last of your tribe, he wouldn't be very much use if he was dead... Please show him compassion" she remained in her bowed position, compleatly unaware that Ai was smirking, he believed he proved his point to Kaito on her weakness about other being harmed "Perhaps... Kaito San, you should allow him basic foods... after all he would be nothing a burden if he got sick" he thought about it productivly as he knew for a fact if Yuu got ill Toshi had to look after him also and at the back of his mind he knew Yuu would have prority because of the stupid house rules

Kaito was entertained from seeing Toshi begging and smiled as Toshi continued on, since obviously he wasn't going to show 'that' much sympathy towards either of them. After Toshi was finished, he chuckled, "Well then..I suppose. But under certain conditions. If we allow him to eat normal food, he must keep his plate on the floor and eat like the mutt he is, so no utensils or fingers. And he must eat it in front of us." Kaito thought that would be much more amusing to see Yuu put himself into a shameful position in front of everyone rather than having him go out to scavenge or food.

Toshi raised her head just slighty as she was spoken to "That is shameful..." she stood up and closed her eyes "A man should never eat like that" her eyes turned to the door and showed they where hurt but she couldn't make that decision for him but she really didn't like the thought of Yuu eating like an animal "Let him eat normally... I'll take the punishment" it sounded like she was about to start crying the way her voice began to shake, she waited to hear the reply before she went to get Yuu
