I've decided to join all the cool kids and cosplay my character :p
Or, cosplay-to-the-best-of-Trisphee's-abilities, ahaha.
True, but I have it really easy compared to the rest of you XD
I can't cosplay mine. Distinct lack of wrinkles and balding hair on here.
I suppose a hood could cover that, but oh well XD
From what I'm reading, the Amorpha Network is more or less an information resource. Would it have any open warnings on a mass Dybbuk movement, or would we end up not knowing about it until it happened?
It's powered by a satellite which has advanced observation functions linked into the network, so, yes, it is probably known or at least there to learned, should anyone look.
I'm up for a little zombie killin'.
All right, well, I think I need to RP a bit more with Funk before we dive into that, so we'll have to wait for him.
Also, I won't be on nearly all day tomorrow. I can probably sneak a post in early in the morning, but otherwise, I won't be back until around 11:00 EST. We'll have to see what happens tonight to see if there's room to RP or if we'll have to wait for the weekend to get started with the attack. |
Aw, alright. Maybe I can actually get some stuff done tomorrow, then, without this silly distraction. =P
What're you gonna be up to, Suzerain? |
My cousin is coming over for the day. We're writing a novel together and he lives an hour away, so we try to pack as much collaboration and brainstorming in as we can when we're able to get together.
Oh, that's right. Then I hope you guys have fun. =3
If we're talking about future unavailability, starting either tomorrow or Saturday I'll probably be only able to post a couple times a day. This would probably last for three to four days. Hopefully it won't get in the way of the RP very much. xP
Ugh. Optometrist appointment = Espy being blind as a bat in sunlight. And I already can't stand bright light. Ah well, since having my eyes open gave me a headache, I closed my eyes and ran around. And ran into lots of shit. And started feeling sorry for Dante.
xD Well that's one way to get into character, Espy...
Edit: "Arr! Ye Mutinous Cur!" I thought the achievements notice was yelling at me for a sec, but that's actually the name of the achievement. ...What in the world does that have to do with roleplaying? |
@Dolly, I suppose overblown Ye Olde English that commonly comes up in roleplaying?
@Espy, that's... ironic. :p Hope you get better soon. |
Perhaps after everyone is ready to "leave the town" the Dybbuk horde could attack, thus paving a way for either everyone to escape the guards or either help the guards and get some kind of pardon for the events? Actually I'd figure if Fee were to pick up on an invasion of the like she may wish to go to the guards to warn them no matter how much she may have been connected to the previous incident.
A pardon? -shifty eyes- Dante'll probably just hightail it out of there. If his head becomes lucid soon enough, he'll probably try climbing the walls (and coming back for the bike later)...
It really depends on how things unfold. I don't anticipate getting to the attack tonight, unless me and Funk get a chance to move ahead a bit.
The idea is to both have an action sequence and get us all out of the city with few to no strings attached. |
Aww, everything died out. And it was so active yesterday, too. =(
I guess people were just busy today.
I'll be able to move us forward a bit, now that Funk's posted.
*heads over to RP thread.* |
I was actually out and about until 5:00...Q.Q but now I'm back and ready to rumble.
Okay, cool, hopefully we can make some progress, then. :)
(before I'm gone all day tomorrow) |
Sorry, if what I did will make an unexpected effect. I just did the first thing that my character would do. XP
:O IT LOOKS AWESOME. Thank you so much!
x3 You're welcome! I'm glad you like it. I fixed the size really quick, since it looked like a bit of a page-stretcher.
Jeanne looks GREAT :3 Anyways off to the RP to see if Fee will do anything :p
Hey guys. Sorry I'm so preoccupied. I'll be heading to bed soon, but I'll make one more post (and probably a GM post, too) before then, and I'll check in quick tomorrow morning to see if anything needs attention.
Make sure you get a lot done on your novel tomorrow at least Suzerain ;)
Oy, sorry I'm on late.
Okay, that was my last post for the night.
Funk, feel free to move Shealtiel along, he's following you anyway. If things get going quick tomorrow, you can act for him, too, so I don't get completely left behind (and this is kind of his area of expertise...) I'm not sure when we'll meet up next, but it should probably happen at some point. You all can just RP it out while I'm gone and see what happens. Just to recap: Dybbuk are weak and easy to kill, but they can repossess corpses they get cast out of, so go for crippling wounds or limb removal. They actually fight, though, by the way, not just try to eat people. They are somewhat slower than living humans. Emim have no physical form to harm, are naturally invisible, and emit a field of psychic horror. They're all very powerful psychics, at least Rue's match each. Three or four of them together could probably take down one of the Saints. Try to avoid them if you can, I don't think any of us are carrying weapons that can hurt them (though maybe steal some ED Grenades from soldiers, if they have any... those will exorcise them from the area, effectively mission-killing them.) And, Rephaim *can* be hurt by weapons, but they're extremely resilient, not to mention *very* fast. They can take a ton of punishment, too, and the effect of their psychic murmuring gets worse with prolonged exposure. Oh, and one hit from their weapons will pretty much drop anyone who isn't supernaturally defending themselves. Probably try to stay out of this guy's way, too. ED Grenades won't banish them, but they'll stun them temporarily. Salone, that rifle can hold Obliteration Rounds, which some of the police are probably packing, which will do significant damage to the Rephaim if they hit him. And that's it, I'm out for the night. :) |
Bye, Suzerain. Have fun tomorrow. =)
Serra, you got any ideas on how Fee and Jeanne can get out? I guess they could follow the others in the sewers, but I don't know if you have anything better in mind.
Feel free to follow us. Lev hasn't gotten a chance to thank someone for a healing, and it makes for wacky hijinks in the sewer.
Mkay, I'll direct them towards you in my next post then. ^^
Sage ninja'd me, so I edited my post to accommodate her. =P
Back. Sorry guys; had piano and dinner and random shit in between.
Sounds like my turn then? Unless Salone is going to keep it up :p
