Naw, they're doing fine, oops, except for that poor lioness with a broken leg. For the most part they're thriving. The zebra and buffalo on the other hand are going DOWN!

Yeah, prey animals are a dime a dozen. I root for predators every time. Sadly a broken leg is a death sentence for a wild lion.
