At least you think so, I scared Ultima.

Gallagher 04-13-2012 08:38 PM

Well, as much as I love Ulti, they've still got to get used to things 'round here. -chuckles-

Red Calypso 04-13-2012 08:39 PM

I'm sure she will, given time.

Ultima 04-13-2012 08:40 PM

-Ahem- they will* o3o;

Crystallyn Whisper 04-13-2012 08:41 PM

*rolly rolly rolly* o 3o;

Gallagher 04-13-2012 08:41 PM

I certainly hope they will. I feel one of those silly, sappy, unmentioned bonds with them over certain similarities we happen to have... -hrm-

-throws glue on Crys-

.... "Certain similarities"? 0.o?

Crystallyn Whisper 04-13-2012 08:43 PM

*eats glue* I am immune to your glue~ > w<

Red Calypso 04-13-2012 08:44 PM

They? Now my inner grammar Nazi is popping up...but okay.

Ultima 04-13-2012 08:45 PM

Sorry, it's my preferred pronoun as I identify as neither male nor female. o3o;

Crystallyn Whisper 04-13-2012 08:46 PM

Try not to get too frazzled, Red. The English language is dumb and doesn't have any singular gender neutral pronouns. > 3<

Red Calypso 04-13-2012 08:46 PM

How about hir?

Gallagher 04-13-2012 08:47 PM

-point- That would be why. Not identifying with one's own gender. -nods-

It's not that it doesn't, so much as it has too many negative connotations to be used on people.

-fetches the heavy-duty stapler-

Ultima 04-13-2012 08:48 PM

I've never really liked "zie/hir" though =/ Virtually no one's ever heard of it, and people do use "they" when unsure of someone's gender. Just no one ever realizes it ^^;

Red Calypso 04-13-2012 08:51 PM

I'll try to remember, but I make no guarantees. To me, they/them will always be plural.

Crystallyn Whisper 04-13-2012 08:52 PM

I know about those words. I just didn't think they were English, and I don't know how to pronounce them. > 3>;
