I think you'd be calling me old if you do that. Do you think I'm old?!

Renegade 07-20-2011 05:58 PM

Old? When'd I ever say you're old?

Suzerain of Sheol 07-20-2011 06:24 PM

Don't worry about it, Espy, it clearly says "Espy's mule". :p

And, your post got me thinking. A confrontation between Rue and Shealtiel would be more or less rocket-launcher tag. They're both extremely powerful, and both have next to no defense against the other's abilities. Unless you count Shealtiel likely returning from dead. :p

Salone 07-20-2011 09:28 PM

Lev would eat what was left of the loser, in an attempt to gain some form of their powers. He finds psychics especially tasty.

CupcakeDolly 07-21-2011 01:20 AM

I think Rue would taste like veal and... bubblegum.

And a fight between her and Shealtiel would be so epic.

Suzerain of Sheol 07-21-2011 01:24 AM

I'm not sure... it would only last a couple seconds, I imagine, and probably end in mutually-assured-destruction. :p

Of course, it is worth noting that Rue could probably become an Emim when she dies, and if she got blasted with Sheol magicks, that seems like it would almost be guaranteed. Not that... there are any enemy Servants of Sheol we might encounter. Oh, no. Never.

Salone 07-21-2011 01:29 AM

Your assurance assures me that the possibility of that never happening has been assured to the group.

CupcakeDolly 07-21-2011 01:32 AM

*Takes notes on stuff that will "never" happen*

If anyone wants something particular in the vehicle department let me know. I was just thinking convoy jeep as it would be good for most terrain and could house Dante's motorcycle if it came down to it.

Espy 07-21-2011 01:04 PM

A convoy jeep might be nice in terms of defense....but it's kinda...slow? Ah well, Dante could always do whatever scouting he can. (Which is not a lot in terms of terrain; he'll probably ride into a few boulders here and there.)

Crap, Shealtiel pretty much just asked Dante the exact question that was going through my head when I came up with Dante's name.

Serra Britt 07-21-2011 01:08 PM

Feenai just doesn't want to think about walking while carrying, umm...anything. So she was thinking convenience not speed.

Renegade 07-21-2011 01:14 PM

Yeah....and Lev could snipe attackers on a Jeep, haha...

Suzerain of Sheol 07-21-2011 03:21 PM

Well, it's bound to be faster than walking, regardless. And we can always look for air or sea transport if we're still heading to the Seven Churches, though the land route would probably be more interesting and involve less time skipping.

And, Espy, look on the bright side, you get to come up with a no-doubt fascinating explanation now. :D

Salone 07-21-2011 03:24 PM

I do want to hear this one.

And a Jeep would be nice, although with our group we would need multiples. And fighting across the wasteland is going to be a great Mad Max/Road Warriors/Borderlands adventure. Lev wants the model with the coaxial machine gun on top. Preferably one with a PKM machine gun on top. But that's just him.

And as loud as engines are, good luck scouting without being heard miles off. They'll be great for moving, but we'll be ambush central is what I think.

CupcakeDolly 07-21-2011 04:19 PM

Machine gun? Pff. Everyone knows that rocket launchers kick more ass.

And uh... I'm stuck with a bit of writer's block. Which freaking sucks, because I don't want to be left behind here AND I want to enter the event story contest today. ;;
