I might look into a 2nd shift sort of thing. Maybe not ALL night long but like from 5pm to 1 or 2am. Don't know if I would like it or not. Argh. For now I am sticking with what I have, haha!

The assistants at my work have a 4p-1a shift. I've worked it quite a few times filling in, and I prefer it over any other shift honestly.

I do not watch GoT. I have been told I need to, but I would rather read them first and I'm having a hard time getting into the first book. (I tried so hard)
I don't really watch much honestly. Most of my shows ended a long time ago and I'm skeptical about starting new ones. Since I finally have HBO for the first time ever though, I might start watching something.
My boyfriend made me watch an episode of Silicon Valley the other day and I rather liked it. It actually kept my interest and was decently humorous.

GoT is slow reading. I am reading book 2 but am skimming and only reading the stuff I want to. Like I only read the characters who interest me. Hehe. But you know, I am old enough to know when to take time to read something slowly and when I can speed read. It is not a practice I advocate or even do, but for GoT that is the only way I can read it.

I never saw that Silicon show, but I want to. My husband never wants to watch it. I thought it looked amusing so I might press him to watch it to check it out.

Uma; Oh boy. Uh, mainly just older sitcoms, or recently ended sitcoms.
Scrubs, House, Friends, The L Word, Psych, How I Met your Mother, and I'm sure there are more but that's all my sleep deprived brain can muster.

Those are really the only shows I watched from episode 1 until the end that I miss very dearly.

Wow, must say I never watched those shows. Amazing! Not a one. I did not care for Friends as I did not feel a part of that kind of society. I was going to college at the time and I was watching Buffy. I wore black all the time and was a pseudo-goth, haha. Then, lately, I don't watch much. I was watching Dexter but that ended and True Blood. GoT. That is about it. Sometimes I watch HGTV with their Love it or List it, or the first time home buyers show. As for movies...I love Bollywood.

Espy, when I lived in Marin Co. I would see George Lucas around and about in his ....what did he have, a Studebaker I think. 2 of them. But Silicon Valley must not be as exciting. =P

True Blood is on my list. I have been told that I definitely need to get into it.
Although all the tiny clips that I've seen have just been various kinds of vampire sex. xD
So I'm a tad bit hesitant on that one. But I hear the story line is addictive.

It is soft porn and it's in almost every episode. I have become desensitized to it. Now I just laugh at it because all that sex is so formulaic and stupid and does not make the story any better. But beyond that is the story and it is a good one. I have really enjoyed watching it, quite a bit, so much that I would recommend it, but don't watch with your parents around that would be...awkward, lol.

Hai Uma! *waves* I'm doing well enough. It's hot down here too. The temps are supposed to be in the low to mid 90's all week. We've got storms that are supposed to be moving through, so I'm crossing my fingers that they will cool us off. So what've you been up to?

Well I worked, luckily indoors today. I went and had my hair cut which was nice. My husband sold 2 of his pictures today, to a stranger, very exciting. They were some of a few hanging in a cafe nearby and now we need to get another couple together to replace them.

But mostly it is so hot ugh! 100 today. Maybe we'll get some storms. Doing anything interesting?

Not really, picked up the disaster area that is our living/play room today. My son is out with my mother-in-law and her aunt today. She popped up unexpectedly and offered to take him with her to the store and out for lunch. :) And I am SO proud of my littlest! Today was the first time since she was about 4 moths old that she hasn't cried when my MIL's come by! She actually smiled at her, and even let her aunt goose her chin without freaking out! It's a miracle! LOL She can be such a little grumpus sometimes... It's good to finally see her coming out of her shell a little. (Sorry for the munchkin ramble XD)

I really hope it cools down after this weekend. It turns out it was only scattered showers yesterday, and we're not supposed to get anything else until this weekend. *crosses fingers* The only good thing about summer time is getting to go swimming... but even then I have to be careful. I burn WAY too easily, even with SPF 50 sunblock on... :/ I'm so envious of my kids for that, lol. They've yet to burn, they just get darker. Lucky little things. XD

Isn't it nice to have some time to yourself to tidy and make things nice? I like doing that (well not Huge messes, but manageable ones). How nice your littlest was agreeable, actually things like that matter to MILs. It dispels the idea that you might possibly have something to do with the attitude of your daughter. A MIL with whom you get along is a blessing. I like talking about your littles, it's cute and I don't have any so I find it of interest.

It totally cooled down today here north of Baltimore, it was like 75 today and a bit humid, but at least not 100, whew. There was a horrid storm last night, we thought the tiles would come off our new roof.

It is quite nice not having to worry about burning in the sun so yes they are lucky. I am light tan from my heritage and have only burned once or twice in my life. :]

It's nice to talk to you! I have missed hearing about your doings and FB is such a puzzle to me. I just today figured out that if I want to know what people are doing I need to comment on their pages and I found a list of my friends so I visited pages. But I forget FB is there for days at a time. Oh well I am trying with it.

Today we went and bought a new living room set for our new apartment. We got a great package deal on a sofa, loveseat, 3 tables, and 2 lamps. I'm really excited to be getting new nicer furniture, but I also don't like spending so much money. >.>;;
