oh lords no
are you okay? |
oh yes I am haha.
I didn't kill it though I was too scared XO |
That's creepy. We found one in an old couch we got out of storage once.
If it is in a place that you don't go very often, they are very beneficial spiders for the ecosystem. They eat other spiders and other noxious bugs. However if it is a place where you or the little one go, spider has to fudge off or get dead. |
might be able to catch it if you've got a transparent / translucent cup or something.
|
I can't imagine Glitch wants to get close enough to said spider to do that.
|
can't really blame them.
|
Yeeeeeah... most spiders don't bother me much, actually I tend to like most of them. (They're on my personal arms in the SCA.) Black Widows, I am much less fond of.
And brown recluse. Can do without those as well. |
i like spiders, just not when they're out of sight, because then i have no idea what the hell is going on.
|
No thanks to the brown recluse. They seem to be a very popular spider up in these parts. Sadly.
Kind of had to get used to other spiders tho. Especially those tiny jumping spiders. Heck, it seems I had crushed a spider in my sleep last night. It's body was on my pillow this morning. RIP you dumb idiot. |
Out of sight certainly doesn't equate out of mind for spiders.
Though I admit, my first thought was "their taxes." Which is borderline absurdist. |
that reminds me of an incorrect quotes thing for don't starve involving wendy telling webber about a spider in her room, via the telephone, and webber calling the spider a fiend after she mentions that it's not paying its taxes.
|
Can't imagine what a spider would do if it had to pay taxes. Sell it's cobwebs for silk?
|
If they have no income and own no property, what would they pay taxes on?
|
But they do have their own property. If you don't consider their spiderwebs a property, then they are squatters and need to be dealt with accordingly. >:l
Speaking of which. Need to go collect all that rent from my spiders. |
There are so many spiders covering the ground here, it looks like it's covered in glitter at night with a flashlight because of their eyes.
|
That sounds lovely. You must be so safe from any insects at the moment.
