Eh, I work in the restorative/rehabilitative side of healthcare though, so my idea of being caring and understanding is to treat them with a "yeah but this is what you need to get better" mindset. Things like wallowing in self-pity and not taking your medication/drinking the tea that will help don't get any sympathy in my house. I am a meanie!

Mekatra my gf will tell you an awful story of me being asleep drunk in the bathroom... I apparently called out to her in the middle of the night saying I was cold with the blanket kicked away from me xD

I have a cold rn which is as minor as being sick can get and yet I'm all like why didn't I appreciate not having a cold and count my blessings when I didn't have a cold.

Having a cold sucks because everything just takes more effort, but everyone tells you "Oh it's just a cold, you'll be fine" and on the inside you're thinking you're dying because you had to bend over to put clothes in the washer.

FedEx does suck. They failed to deliver on Monday due to "local weather delay"
It was sunny and 56F And they failed yesterday bc the driver was too lazy or dumb or BOTH to find my house. |
That sucks. Our local UPS guy does that stuff and it makes me SO MAD.
