Suzerain of Sheol 01-20-2013 08:34 PM

Oh, and Espy, is Dante seeing the general overkill of Thyat'ria that he's freaking out about? :P

Salone 01-20-2013 08:34 PM

I think I like the wizard better. So what did we come up with? Can two damned souls make it in to this shining city of sinless denizens?

Well, his train of thought right now is along the lines of "...There are a LOT of people over there. And a LOT of power. Well, shit."

Suzerain of Sheol 01-20-2013 08:38 PM

Well, there's nothing stopping us from going in... we're just likely to meet increasingly ridiculous resistance every step of the way. :P

Which is bad. Gotta come up with something.

Well, Na'lsa has the whole Son of God thing going, maybe if he started preaching in the square? I mean, he's so complicated spiritually, it's not like Zaccheus' goons are going to have a clue what to make of him at first.

But Shealtiel... he pretty much has an aura of "Uh, no. Just no. No. OH SWEET JESUS NOOOOO! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!" now. :|

I'm honestly not sure what to do with him unless he can somehow render himself invisible spiritually. Maybe he hitch a ride on Dante's soul. :P

Salone 01-20-2013 08:42 PM

If he has no clue what to do with his own soul, Na'lsa could suggest a generous donation...Although Dante is probably a more long-term career move.

Lev/Na'lsa is ready to march though. Oh, what the hell. Let's post.

Wait, wait what? I'm confused.

EDIT: Also, had to resist the urge to make Dante throw a brick at Na'lsa's head.

Hehe. Na'lsa welcomes your brick-based donation!

EDIT: On a way off topic, I received some extra codes from my old workplace for a free download of Skyrim for 360. I figure everyone who wants it by now probably already has it, but if anyone here wants one, I have a spare.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-20-2013 09:12 PM

Shealtiel has Cain tags for his dialogue now. Deal with it. :P

He feels overpowered. >_>

Espy 01-20-2013 09:20 PM

Salone, I still have no idea what you meant by "If he has no clue what to do with his own soul, Na'lsa could suggest a generous donation...Although Dante is probably a more long-term career move."

Suze, wait, is that Cain talking through Shealtiel...?

Suzerain of Sheol 01-20-2013 09:27 PM

No, but he might have bitten off a bit more than he bargained for in devouring his soul like that. He's still essentially Shealtiel though (for now :P) If he gets put in serious distress we might see some cracks in the facade show up, who knows?

Arikana 01-20-2013 09:29 PM

What are Cain tags? o_o

On the topic of attaching to souls, you could probably attach to my character's soul and go undetected what with her being a theurgist and having schizophrenia. >.>

Also, my laptop's adaptor decided to die yesterday so I gotta get a new one tomorrow and I hate typing long stuff on my parents' iPad. =_=

Suzerain of Sheol 01-20-2013 09:34 PM

Cain talked in bold, indigo text. (And capitalized, but Shealtiel isn't quite that bombastic).

And that might work, once we're all friends and all. :P

I mean, we could play this like every other encounter we've had in this game and just say* to Hell with diplomacy and slaughter everything in our path, but... the have some pretty big guns up there. :|

*I am not actually recommending this.

Arikana 01-20-2013 09:44 PM

Ahh, I see.

It'll take some time to get to know her though, what with the voices and hallucinations she hears and sees causing her to be wary regarding whether or not she's being influenced by them.

Zaccheus sounds cool and since I don't know what he looks like, I'm going to imagine him as an adorable, chubby old man. :P

Espy 01-21-2013 03:12 AM

By the way, Salone, Dante will not take nicely to any indication from Na'lsa that he is leaving Lev's body and coming for his.

Salone 01-21-2013 04:28 AM

No worries. Unfortunately for him, he is more or less stuck to Lev's body and soul. He has spent too long inside it and gone through too many changes for him to be able to just jump. Besides, the body and soul have to be open to him. Lev wasn't exactly innocent before Na'lsa came to reside inside him. Dante...he might have issues invading.

Well in that case Shealtiel can take hish crochety old self and nap in the ATV and come out after the rest of us have &*%#ed up diplomacy and it's a big fight anyway.

"YOU ALL DIE NOW!" *army gets geared up with really big guns*
"Just a second while we go wake up our anti-christ."

...that may have been a bit much. Going to go read and post now.

Quiet Man Cometh 01-21-2013 05:26 AM

So yeah, thinking back to the X-files episode Dara is based on, tempted to make her start going slightly Nephilim. In the meantime, it seems her missing finger is growing back. Ideas for later.

Espy 01-21-2013 01:15 PM

You know, I've just realized that Dante has/had a MID on him. Also, if anyone wants his collapsible shuriken-looking blade, go ahead and take it after I post; he's got too much crap on him anyways and might just see if he can find a simple sword in the city.

...Somewhere.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-21-2013 04:09 PM

I had this image last night of Lev getting dragged off by Zaccheus' men to the middle of nowhere, crucified with enchanted silver spikes that prevent him from discorporating, and Zac calling down a tac-nuke right on top of his head. :|

Be careful, Na'lsa!

Salone 01-21-2013 05:08 PM

I am almost honored at the sheer magnitude of resources utilized there. My personal John Henry Patterson.

Quiet Man Cometh 01-21-2013 05:12 PM

Well seeing as I have no rifle she gets a shotgun, but this is about what I can do with what I have. The love letter satchel was a little bright for the outfit.

Quiet Man Cometh 01-21-2013 05:43 PM

Okay, did some back reading. The guns Michael got from Aaron are one that can damage etheral beings and a long barreled Zircon inlaid thing that can apparently channel psychic energy. Dara is lacking in the psychic energy appartment but there's always her over-spilling aura/soul thing to maybe screw with it, unless someone else wants a try.

So, .22 mundane rifle, not-so-mundane handgun, and longer barreled no-clue-what-it's-going-to-do handgun.

Espy 01-21-2013 07:59 PM

Dante has a gun that can do something similar to exorcising spirits, if I remember correctly.

Arikana 01-21-2013 08:22 PM

I'm typing up my first post for my character. Though, it's getting kind of long. >.> Is there a limit on how long posts should be? >.>

As long as it's literate, type away. Seriously, like...just go for it. Go wild. No regrets. Carpe Diem.

But no I don't think there's a limit.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-21-2013 09:17 PM

No limit, especially on an intro post, Ari. :)

Espy 01-21-2013 09:23 PM

I mean, if it takes you over an hour to /type/, that might be bad. But otherwise, no.

Espy 01-21-2013 10:05 PM

Double post, but I was having too much fun.

...Don't even try to talk to me. Got it?

This was so much better on paper...

Suzerain of Sheol 01-22-2013 03:25 PM

So, if possible, I need us to get a ways away from the APC. I'd like to have a patrol from the city swing by us, but if we're too close to Asasiah, their sensors are going to go nuts.

Espy 01-22-2013 03:32 PM

I'd post if there was another post after Quiet's.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-22-2013 03:41 PM

Would one from me help?

Espy 01-22-2013 04:46 PM

Sure. In more lit RPs like this one, I've qualms against posting a lot between two people.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-22-2013 05:17 PM

Shealtiel: Yeah... you guys are on your own. Good luck!

Salone 01-22-2013 06:06 PM

Well, here we go a gamblin'. I don't like the idea of us roaming around at night either. Who knows what all is out there.

Suzerain of Sheol 01-22-2013 10:00 PM

Well, you'd best get moving then, I reckon!

Shealtiel:Sorry, only room for one to hide down here...

Salone 01-24-2013 02:23 AM

Been so quiet! I guess I'll go ahead and post tomorrow after work, if no one else has by then. I guess it's my turn anyway.

Serra Britt 01-25-2013 12:31 AM

Oi. Yes I've been absent too long. SO!

Following up on prior stuffs, I really have no idea how to "power up" Fee. She can grab whatever info she wants and has telekinesis...I guess just being able to do more telekinesis with less mental strain is the only think I can think of.

@Espy, From those character sheets (which I think it rather interesting) I would have thought of Fee at having the "attractive" trait but then again I might be biased? She's certainly closer to average from a standard viewpoint :p

Anyways...posted. Fee will get out of her shellshock as soon as is seems like she can be useful. Which looks to be soon if info gathering is needed. Really, if anyone remembers the "internet" exists, it's Fee. She practically lives there.

Espy 01-25-2013 01:32 AM

I was a bit wary about the "attractive/ugly" row, because that would depend on who's looking at them.

Serra Britt 01-25-2013 01:35 AM

That is true...hence my disclaimer there :p

Arikana 01-25-2013 01:44 AM

I should finish typing up my post. I took a break and kind of forgot about it. >_> Hockey's been a major distraction for me since the NHL lockout season began. >.>

Physically, my character's definitely not on the attractive side, at least I can't see how, what with all the scars and burn marks scattered across her body. :| But hey, maybe some people are into that kind of stuff. :P
