how old is winter?
|
Kids are so precious
I never had new neighbors as a kid. Basically, my parents built our house (well, they told the builders what they wanted and the builders built it, but you know what I mean) and we were the only house in that "lot" for a while and eventually other people came and built their houses there too So all the neighbors each built their own homes and obviously... when you build a home, you plan to live there quite some time. So all the kids in the neighborhood grew up together and the left home, and their parents stayed in that house. Of all the neighbors we had, only one moved away before we did. So I basically saw the same people in my neighborhood every day of my life until I turned 19 or so. |
that is such an alien concept to me that i cannot even imagine it properly....
|
Awww!
iirc Winter is 2? Or something I also had the same neighbors until I moved out for college |
2 1/2!
I want neighbors that I get along with! |
so little enough for that x'''D
i think a lot of people want that. will you send them food or a welcoming gift so as to start things off correctly? |

My neighbors were always like, "We don't talk to the other neighbors"
It was really taboo to even like say "hi" if you saw them on the street. People talk about "Minnesota nice", but it's a huge myth. |
i've never heard of people from minnesota being nice though? XD
i don't see why you should perpetuate your old neighbor's crummy behaviour though |
where i live now, i only know one neighbor. at our previous house, we knew the neighbors on either side of us. growing up, however i knew everyone on the street, cause we all went to the same school. and this was also back in the day when you could go door-to-door selling girl scout cookies to your entire development.

I remember door-to-door Girl Scouts. :D
I never knew my neighbors well, but I knew their children. We all grew up together. But I was the only ethnic child in my neighborhood and a lot of the adults were pretty racist... So after we all started going into middle school, their parents didn't want me around much anymore, so I lost all the connections and the childhood friends I used to have... |
Once they’ve been moved in for a week or so I want to take cookies or something ouo
|
i'm sorry that happened to you Ava :( *hugs*

"despite" makes those things seem like a problem. here let mecorrect it for you;
But the ones that care about you and love you because they aren't gaping assholes... Those are the people who's words and actions truly matter. :) better! |
That sounds much much better, Chocobo! <3
I was trying hard to find a word: I guess “regardless†could work too, yeah? Those who love you regardless? |
