I mean, he's screwed if he's up against an opponent with psychic powers or a really erratic fighting style. Also, he's prone to missteps -- he did fall off a roof and fortunately into a dumpster once.

Na'lsa is purely asexual, because giving him any sort of attraction in any sort of physical/sexual based sense would throw him over the city limits of creepytown.

Oh, I feel for you. I've been there, though it wasn't for me at the time.
I suppose I can have Dara start walking towards the city being her usual unobtrusive self. Serra, the psychic powered gun that Dara's carrying around would probably work best with Fee. She can always snag that at some point. Dara doesn't actually know what it does or recognize the symbols on it since it's an artificers thing and she wasn't around when it was explained. One the current trend, Dara is effectively girl-next-door. Interpret that as you like. She's not a stunner, but not hideous either. |

You know, I've just realized this thing's been going for more than a year and a half. That's pretty decent for a Tris group chat. I've also noticed that almost all writers since it was created have been in this RP.

I'm so glad it's still going. It's just a fun setting, has a little bit of everything. You guys deserve the credit for keeping it alive, though, couldn't have done it without you. I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far.
I do wish Arsis had stuck around, though, it's a shame he vanished like that. |

Okay, I'm done my character's intro post. Just need poke Suze about Zaccheus' lines, (as I've no clue as to how Zaccheus speaks o_o), in the flashback I'm including to give more depth as to how she ended up in Thyatira. I'll do that tomorrow though, since I'm gonna go to bed soon. :3

Oh, I do take extreme comfort in that. Na'lsa is too uppity anyway, he needs to be cut down a notch. Conqueror when he can be, coward when he has to be. Perhaps he needs to have a Buzz Lightyear moment now.

Huh. Looks I've been misspelling it, I have it Thyati'ra on the intro material. And I copied those spellings out of the version of Revelation I was using as research, I forget which particular kind of bible it was.
And they don't have any particular murderous intent, but if they detect evil, expect a salvo of grenades in short order. Like I said before, Na'lsa is going to befuddle them, though. And do you need me to give you anything to work with, Ari? |
Mm, I recognized it from Revelations as that's where I've seen it. I love that book of the Bible, part of the reason as to why I was drawn to this roleplay. X3 The version I read has Thyatira, which is why I was wondering as to what it was being spelled as Thyat'ria. :P
Ah, okay. I have an idea that I want to play with. :3 When I was creating my char, I'm kind of glad I kept her relatively weak, not only because of her young age, but also since it'll give me more room to help her develop new powers. And that is always fun to do. :P |
Not going to lie. Last time I read a Bible, it was a Hosanna Bible given to me when I was 5. I attended a Pentacostal church for a while (not by choice, mind you. I valued sleeping in on Sundays), but my knowledge is...fuzzy, at best.
Also, since Na'lsa did consume the Saint from waaaaaay back when, can he just ooze his aura? Or if that's too far back, what about devouring someone else once we get in to the city, to hide behind the aura from them? After all, you are what you eat. |
