Shohnightingale 11-01-2012 01:49 AM

Whats new is the snuggly stich kigurumi that i am wearing because its cold outside and it make me all warm and coumfy on the fall night of fright~ that and i work at party city so my feeet are a bit swolen from a 7 hour shift ~ but alas it was a good day

Pathosis 11-01-2012 01:55 AM

Oh, wow. It'd be hard working at Party City around Halloween. D:
I've been on my feet for 7 hours before. It's horrible.
What's a Kigurumi though? Is it like a blanket type thing?
I know my Ruana keeps me warm when I'm cold. > u <

Shohnightingale 11-01-2012 02:01 AM

"Kigurumi" comes from a combination of two Japanese words: kiru ("to wear") and nuigurumi ("stuffed toy"). Traditionally, it referred specifically to the performers wearing the costume, but the word has since grown to include the costumes themselves. In Japan, kigurumi costumes are worn as a way to break the conventions of traditional dress… or just as comfy pajamas!

In addition to pajamas, kigurumi make great everyday clothes. They are quick to put on and you can wear them over your dull, normal clothes.
