I don't know either, but someone actually snapped at the admin.
And the admin got all "Stuff happens but you just don't see it! This is off topic and I'm locking it!" ...really don't miss that site. |
No, indeed. Though I do think the users there are way too sensitive sometimes.
|
Yes they are,
but look at the Admin, Everyone there is too sensitive. |
Indeed.
There was a question on one of my assessments that asked whether I think people are too sensitive and should toughen up. ._. |
I would be so tempted to answer with a resounding YES.
Arrrrh look at the responses here. http://www.ernya.com/personal-opinio...s-t243140.html "I can only release what coders give me, I am not a coder myself" ........way to shift responsibility. She's the admin, she might not do the coding but she is the one who delegates the tasks and controls the assets, she can decide which task needs priority and what to fund now and what can wait and how much time, money and attention an issue needs. She has a history of spreading her resources thin and regardless of what she says, the blacklist by default of existing used resources that could have been directed elsewhere. That is on her, not the coders. |
In my head: "STRONGLY AGREE" ...on my application: "disagree"... r nr Because um. you know. I'm nice and people-oriented. but I couldn't strongly disagree.
And roo... Though on the one hand I agree that implementing other features doesn't mean the "more important" ones can't be worked on simultaneously and some things just take longer than others to be finished. |
Yes, and had she not followed it up with
"I'm not a coder so I can only do what coders let me" that point MIGHT have been acceptable. And again, I cannot stress enough that this is someone who has a reputation for money issues and spreading resources too thin or pushing out rushed and shoddy or even unfinished materiel, she cannot afford anything superfluous until the important things ARE finished, she could always save that money for later. |
Indeeeed. Like apparently pixeling is a big problem, why not de-fund the blacklist project for a while to work on that?
|
Indeed, you can abort projects or put them on hold while you re-direct funds to more important issues.
So her excuses just aren't cutting it for me, if she'd had a better track record and wasn't so quick to deflect blame then maybe I'd have given this a pass, but even then, this was a pretty bad idea considering that the site has had issues with finances for YEARS. |
Where the heck did you come from just now?
|
Had to help with dinner,
Got asked to do a million things while I was in the kitchen. |
I see... Bleh.
Why the hell do I keep having to change the time on my computer? |
I don't know, I've never had that problem.
|
Like every few days I notice the time has gone back an hour.
|
.......Wonky, maybe it doesn't realize daylight savings time or something.
|
Stupid computer. You'd think if I set it manually, though, it would stay that way.
|
indeed,
I don't see why it wouldn't. |
And yet, this is maybe the fourth time I've had to tell it that it's an hour too slow.
|
Indeed,
My computer does the whole time change thing automatically so I've never had an issue. |
Never had this problem with real computer. r nr
|
Has Ryan shipped it yet?
|
Probably not. Haven't heard from him in a couple of days now and he didn't answer the text I sent him earlier.
|
...lovely,
hope he's not sick. |
You know he's probably sleeping. -_-
|
...Lovely, maybe you'll hear from him this weekend.
|
A whole 'nother week after the time he claimed he'd have sent it.
|
...>___>
You don't think he's hiding do you? |
Nah... He'd be more likely to just use the same old excuses: I'm tired, I don't feel good, my body hurts, I didn't get enough sleep, I had things to do.
|
Indeed,
although I'd say if the tired/hurting stuff is so debilitating it prevents him from ever mailing things he needs a doctor. |
I've only been saying that for as long as we've been in that apartment.
|
*Shakes head*
lovely, There comes a point when he really kind of just has to go ahead and do it, tired or not. |
Exactly. And he has family who could easily help if he'd actually ask them...
|
Indeed, I mean, his mom offered to help, why he is not asking her?
.....it's not the same as when I try to get my dad to help. "NEED TO MAIL PEN!" "LEMONS?!" "NO PEEEEEN!!!" "WHAT LEMONS?!" "NO! WE NEED TO GO TO TOWN AND MAIL THIS PEN!" "WHERE?" "TO TOWN! I NEED TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE?" "FOR LEMONS?!" |
Oh god your dad. XD
Someone fetch that man a super heavy duty hearing aid. But yeh. There's a point at which someone is just being a lazy-bum. |
It was as bad as the whole incident with your Humira, which I mentioned a million times was medicine and he still thought was milkshake.
indeed, his mom isn't deaf or old. Going to eat dinner now, back in a bit. |
Exactly. If he ever replies to me and ends up not having sent it yet, I'mma be on his ass with a red-hot poker. No excuses, there are people who can help him out, and I NEED MY GODDAMN COMPUTER
