Might not be a vampire, but i do have a jaw of steel. :)

Azrael: The only way you can make it perfectly clear is by writing it out, on paper, in as many ways as possible. I.E. you need one sheet of paper which is separated into seven columns, in the top of which you have the days of the week, one per column, and below that you've got the hours you CAN'T work in red ink, with the note on each one saying you CAN'T work because of _____, and below that, in blue ink, have the time you CAN work. On another piece of paper, have it written down instead of drawn in chart form. And I usually end with one more piece of paper stating, very formally, that I can only work so many hours a week, according to such and such schedule, and then I've got a stamp from a notary on the bottom of that. If they mess THAT one up, well.. you can honestly sue your boss. ^^;; Let him/her know THAT, and.. they'll get it right.

so will i turn into a vampire fox?

Alexander Linden 10-01-2010 04:39 PM

Nope. If everyone I bit turned into vampires, there would be only vampires on Trisphee!

Azrael 10-01-2010 04:40 PM

._. mer... the only reasons I /can't/ do the hours they want me right now is purely that it's just too much for me physically.

Gwynllid 10-01-2010 04:42 PM

~*Do you see the moonlight?*~

Aza: Why don't you get a doc's note saying as much?

Dema: Hello. ^^; *patpats Dema on the head*

Wonder what the halloween event is gonna be like.. thats if there is gonna be one.

Demagische 10-01-2010 04:44 PM

Halloween Event? That's be awesome! :D

Vai: *purrs* Hello. C:

Azrael 10-01-2010 04:44 PM

._. Cause I highly doubt I have an actual medical thing saying I can't. I mean, it's just too much for me between school and work, and they want me working three, days in a row, two with fairly long hours, two of the days with school. It's too much. Eh. Emotionally and physically. I get stressed really easily... I found out they wanted me to work so many hours this week and I about started sobbing. I did however punch my steering wheel. =P

Sadrain 10-01-2010 04:51 PM

I don't think we have exactly Halloween event. This is what will be our Halloween event, pretty much, Trisphee events won't be based on actual holidays so much as unique on their own.
Unless you're already saying that. x3

Gwynllid 10-01-2010 04:51 PM

~*Do you see the moonlight?*~

You might have Generalized Anxiety Disease.. and I'd say, definitely see a doc about it. If you can't do it, you can't do it. We've all got our physical limits, and I have to spell mine out for my boss sometimes, too.

Dema: I'm sorry, I'm just not in the mood for cheerful stuff.

~*It's aglow with power.*~

Azrael 10-01-2010 04:56 PM

~reads about it a bit~ Potentially... I dunno. I wouldn't even know how exactly to bring that up. I'm not exactly a person who talks about /feelings/ or anything. (Perhaps ironically being female.)

Anyway, I just need to call my boss. I'm waiting on a coworker to reply back to me what the store number is.

Alexander Linden 10-01-2010 04:56 PM

Halloween isn't on the Trisphee calendar. We have our own list of non-Earth holidays that we celebrate. The next holiday starts in the beginning of November.

Gwynllid 10-01-2010 05:01 PM

~*Do you see the moonlight?*~

LIES. I know for a FACT there is a terran holiday in November. It's called gorging day in some places, and burning day of burnination in others. http://familycrafts.about.com/librar...ovdayslong.htm
See? It's all there.

~*It's aglow with power.*~

Demagische 10-01-2010 05:04 PM

Vai: Poo. :C

...does the holiday involve fire? >u>

Sadrain 10-01-2010 05:06 PM

I doubt our next event will be connected to that holiday. XD What we are saying is that we have some holidays similar to Earth holidays, but they are not exactly the same and happen on other times.

Alexander Linden 10-01-2010 05:07 PM

It doesn't have anything to do with any early November holidays.

Yuki 10-01-2010 05:09 PM

I think it's fun we have our own holidays, we can still make pumpkin items without an event. xD

Demagische 10-01-2010 05:10 PM

Indeed. Our own holidays is pretty awesome.

Sadrain 10-01-2010 05:12 PM

Yea. It gives a special feel to it. C: Plus, until we have had all the events, you can never really know what to expect. 83

Demagische 10-01-2010 05:15 PM

Yesh. It's a big surprise for a while. 8D

Yuki 10-01-2010 05:15 PM

I hope it lasts longer than a year. Gaia kinda makes the same theme over and over. xD

Sadrain 10-01-2010 05:19 PM

Well, you can't really make this festival something completely else, since it's world holiday. We don't change Christmas to say, Day of Jumping around, too. XD But I think there can always be something new to make them interesting.

Yuki 10-01-2010 05:21 PM

I hope we get a santa hat anyway, we must have one. Dx

Azrael 10-01-2010 05:23 PM

XD I kinda agree. Even if we aren't going with typical holidays having a santa hat (or something similar) would be really nice just... y'know, to have.

Sadrain 10-01-2010 05:28 PM

Santa hat? I can't ever imagine using one. XD Take that quiver off, though, and you kinda look like one of his little helpers though. -bricked-

Gwynllid 10-01-2010 05:28 PM

~*Do you see the moonlight?*~

But Christmas was a summer holiday until Constantine mandated that it must be celebrated in Winter, along with Hannukah and Yule.

Azrael 10-01-2010 05:29 PM

XD don't care when. But I want a damn santa hat. =P

Who cares? xD

Sadrain 10-01-2010 05:31 PM

But we're talking about present, Vaidurya. That the same holidays go to the next year without much changing, except for some new years that vary with the starting date.

I care. It always gets me in a tizzy when people are going on about how, "Jesus is the reason for the season," but in truth, he's the reason that September is supposed to be festive. Not December. <_< And it downplays the older religions that predate the movement of Christmas Day. Most Christians don't even know about the move, and assume that December 25th has been Christmas as long as Winter Solstice has been Yule.

I'm sorry, but I'm 25. Just because I can tell you about things that happened before I existed doesn't mean I was around to experience them. Christianity isn't as old of a religion as Judaism, and it'd be nice if its people could learn this fact and stop acting like Christianity is the only religion and everything else was inspired by it, instead of the other way around.

~*It's aglow with power.*~

Yuki 10-01-2010 05:54 PM

I never mentioned Jesus... <_<

Alexander Linden 10-01-2010 05:54 PM

I think we have a holiday in winter. But I don't remember anything about it.

Yuki 10-01-2010 05:56 PM

Hope it's fun, either way.

Alexander Linden 10-01-2010 05:56 PM

Vai - Christmas is usually the celebration of his birth, which actually took place in early spring. >.>

Also early Christians moved holidays to make it easy to convert others and have them keep their holidays. December 25th, is "Sol Invictus".
