Well, I don't think anyone really did that. I named Christmas as example, but if, honestly, I have known it was moved for a long time.

You know, I don't care. I celebrate Christmas becuase of family, food and presents. Santa is just a fun character that gets added in. And nothing other than that.

To me, it just means Christianity lacks that extra bit of foresight and plausibility. I agree that the Christmas Season is more about gift-giving and well-wishing than actual Christianity, but I work in Retail and every time that season starts to get close, I have to put up with a lot of people getting upset with me because I say, "Seasons Greetings" instead of "Merry Christmas," because I don't celebrate Christmas personally. Maybe because of that I'm used to people getting up in my face about "how awesome Christ is." I mean, funniest one was when a guy wearing a baseball cap that had "Jesus Loves You" in sharpie on it was being really rude and condescending to me. I asked him if he'd ever heard the phrase, "Do unto others as you wish others to do unto you.." Needless to say it didn't go over very well. xD ~*It's aglow with power.*~ |

Halloween is the only "holiday" that I kinda celebrate. My desk is decorated for it year-round.

I celebrate Christmas for the gifts and family and decorations. >3<' My mom and I really kinda go all our with decorating for it. We like the stuff and the feeling. It's the best time of year IMO just because it has such a warm feeling to me, despite it (in most places in the northern hemisphere) being pretty cold.
I dunno, I'm not religious at all so I've never celebrated holidays for any religious reason. And it bothers me when people think their religion is the best or whatever... |

Ah, it's always been really warm for me, personally. We have big 'family' get togethers and such. I mean it's all family friends and such but we have two babies this year, and I think everyone's going to actually be here.

I just live with my two room mates and my daughter, but last year, my daughter spent Christmas with her grandmother, so I didn't even see her.

I know for a fact there's one for people under the age of 18, but I don't know about over 18.. However I did find out that legally, in nevada, I am not and was no responsible for purchasing my own uniform. So my work owes me thirty-one bucks. I'm just not sure I want to bother bringing it up for thirty-one dollars. |
