slowly, but surely, the first doll is coming together. I'm learning about what hiccups I might run into with the BIG doll, and I found enough fleece in my scraps box to make a test-run of the pattern, so I can see if I was successful in my designing. if I am, then I will start saving up for the final fabric for the big doll. if I can find a way to get everything scanned at actual size, I'll make the pattern available for sale on Etsy.

Nice damies.
I ran out of thread so I can't finish my current wip :-/

@den

I'm using fleece because it was what I had on hand that had stretch. and so far, it's actually turning out pretty good.

I went back to fixing up some of my Disney cosplays, but I hope to have my skirt done soon. ._." (Oh ya, I'm making a skirt out of the pillowcase I found... XD )

dragoness129 10-09-2017 12:14 PM

Yeah, I think it turned out pretty good though.
It's gonna be a theme for an event thread on another site.

Anyone here who sews have any suggestions for what a beginner sewer could use fat quarters/fabric quarters for? They're on sale for 62 cents and I want to buy some, but I'm not sure what I could actually make with them.
Preferably something super easy!

with enough of them, you could make a quilt.

Kaderin Triste 10-10-2017 12:01 AM

Guuuuyyys! I said EASY projects!
*whines*
I can barely sew a straight line. And I don't really have the supplies (rulers, rotary cutter, etc for quilts). Tbh, I should probably get more actual supplies like rulers, fabric pens and such...
