My mom works in the health field and she gets horrible insurance.

Angel Spirit Girl 03-10-2014 10:36 AM

I'm just a bit distrustful of government insurance -- and most government agencies in general.

A lady I work with at the cookie factory has a husband who works for a Blue Cross insurance company and his insurance is nothing special.

Ginger 03-10-2014 10:47 PM

Fauxreal - I know, and it's really ridiculous because health care workers put their own health at risk for other people. You'd think we would get exceptional health care coverage, but we hardly get crap.

Angel - Yeah I know the feeling. I feel like our government has too much control and we need to step up our game for the next revolution.

Fauxreal 03-10-2014 11:42 PM

Yup - and now the NSA is going to read everything we write. They are always watching!

Lawtan 03-11-2014 12:14 AM

My attitude: Well, if the government id perverted enough to watch...may as well give them a show :P

Ginger 03-11-2014 12:37 AM

LOL! I'd take a picture of an empty toilet with the caption "This is how many shits I give"

Fauxreal 03-11-2014 07:09 PM

ROFL! You guys make me giggle!

Ginger 03-11-2014 07:19 PM

What are you going to Japan for, by the way? I keep forgetting to ask..

And here is a picture of conures on a basket. 'Cause I'm a bird lover <3

Aww! Cute birdies! Birds generally don't like me, though... >.>

Ginger 03-11-2014 11:00 PM

Aw :( They just take patience. It can take a long time to earn their trust.

Lawtan 03-12-2014 12:41 AM

^Is very true...
My mother on both wild and abused animals (can apply to people too): You don't know what will set them off. Just try to be quiet and patient with them.

Fauxreal 03-12-2014 01:07 AM

I have a talking parrot at home!

Also my boy is teaching English and I'm visiting him!

Kilala Mikal 03-12-2014 12:24 PM

I was actually referring to the wild ones, lol. It seems like anytime I'm spending more than 2 hours outside (not in the water) I get pooped on... Domesticated (is that the right word?) birds and I get along fairly well. My mom had a Cockatiel when I was little, and he was pretty cool. :)

Ginger 03-12-2014 12:39 PM

Does your mother do volunteer work for animals Lawtan?

Safe travels Faux! That sounds very exciting 8D What kind of parrot do you have?

Sounds like bad luck Kilala. Fortunately I haven't been pooped on by a wild bird yet. At least to my knowledge...
