We have rain & mud :D

daikokunyo 12-24-2015 11:55 PM

I've experienced hail only once in my life.

Potironette 12-25-2015 12:17 AM

Real hail or fake hail? Uhh... Hail like blocks of ice or sheets/bits of ice?

daikokunyo 12-25-2015 12:55 AM

Teensy little ice cubes o.o
But they fell fast and it sounded like a round of bullets when they fell on the car roof.

Tiva 12-25-2015 03:06 PM

Icky, hail causes a lot of damage to your car. I remember I was driving home from work and we had some extreme weather involving hail. Going 70 down the highway was impossible and the one guy that tried ended up breaking his windshield.

daikokunyo 12-26-2015 05:52 AM

That shouldn't be funny I suppose, but it teensily is.

I hate storms. Until it starts to hail. Then I'm one of the idiots running out of their houses to pick up hailstones off the lawn. I have friends who can confirm this, and one of them's even a member here.

Fulkth 12-27-2015 07:05 AM

I haven't seen any hail where I am at recently! Thank goodness!

I remember when I was little. My mom and aunty were stuck in the car in front of the house due to some hail. I sat inside watching in terror thinking my mom was going to die.

I can't believe I was so dumb back then. XD

Biggest worry here is that my home is surrounded by trees...

Tas 12-27-2015 06:31 PM

it's snowing here! o.o

Monorea 12-27-2015 06:50 PM

Well Law if you prune the trees correctly there shouldn't be much risk having trees around your house. And hail her is never severe here, we can get it almost all year round but mostly it's just like snow but a bit bigger, harder and round.

Lawtan 12-27-2015 10:02 PM

...we do mostly, but you are talking 30-50 trees that are ~20 feet tall...and 10 are dead. Those 10 are the concern.

Monorea 12-28-2015 04:14 AM

Just cut them down then? My dad has been cutting down firs around his summer house all of last year both those he is allowed to and some he isn't.

daikokunyo 12-28-2015 05:44 AM

Yeah go ahead and cut them since they're dead anyway.

Tas 12-28-2015 03:39 PM

my home is surrounded by trees too, but that's normal for Washington.

Monorea 12-28-2015 04:17 PM

What kind of trees is it?
