Don't try anything funny. For one, I can recognize the scent of grapefruit in things. for another, there's a reason my game alliance calls me "Mama Den". >3

Thank you, Espyionage. Have milk?

Yup, here you go. I like having a carton of the stuff around, even though I personally despise all milk besides slim. (I love cheese, though.) Milk's useful for putting out a tongue that's caught fire... or treating pepper spray.

Is Den a ninja...

I like skim milk, too. My friend makes fun of me and says I'm drinking 'white water'.

I used to drink milk all the time, then I got tired of the taste.
Then I drank almond milk for a bit. But I inevitably got tired of that too.
Now I don't really like any version. Mostly because I don't like the thickness of milk. I like the coldness more than anything xD

Chat...sure, yeah. Okay.

Same here. It's common it seems. Not a fan of actual grapefruit though. I used to like the fizzed juice. It's been long enough now that if I do stumble across it, it takes me a moment to realize what it is because the taste is unfamiliar now.

EDIT: I left my coffee across the room. Nuts.

Thanks! *Takes a drink of the milk* Delicious.

I like milk occasionally, but I prefer other drinks.

naw. I just really like grapefruit, and if it wouldn't mess me up, I'd be blowing my money on one every day.

I can't have cow's milk unless it's been fermented or turned into cheese, or baked into stuff. I get sick from it. :/ I also have to watch how much deep-fried stuff I eat, for the same reason. Though I will say the deep-fried Milky Way I got at the state fair one year was totally worth the after-effects.

Always tea! Coffee when my guts are being a little iffy.

I'm a big dairy person, because I just happen to like most of it. Alas, I'm having to cut the fat load in my diet now so that's nixing a few things like Greek yogurt, clotted cream, and higher fat milk. Alas.

And yes, deep fried things are not common for me. Excess grease also bad.

So my mom told me yesterday that cheese has a tendency to make migraines worse. As does a lot of other milk products. The latter, I'm fine with. The former is my favorite food :|

Quiet Man Cometh 06-21-2017 03:01 AM

That is news to me. I've had a much easier time with migraines since starting physio. It's likely mine were posture based, so working my neck and back muscles has helped. I still feel crummy around my neck at times, or things feel brittle, but it's not crippling pain anymore. Not sure if diet would affect muscle migraines. I have dairy quite frequently.

Oh, yeah...cheese is bad for migraines. Cocoa works, though!
...migraines in my family seem to be often due to the veins around the head being smaller than normal...so blood thinners and blood vessel dilators (caffeine) help a good bit.

And I have nooo idea what causes my little baby migraines. I just know they happen around the same time as Hurricane Flo. And that they sometimes have lingering and stupid effects that take days to go away. Like the anxiety that's messing with my head right now. It feels detached, at a distance, but it still gets my stupid adrenaline going.

*sets out a huge pot of Long Island iced tea*

Espy 06-21-2017 02:21 PM

I mean, Flo/Soviets/Commies tend to cause weird hormonal things, which, especially if you have GAD/MDD/the likes, will probably trigger migraines and other abnormalities.

Tam I am 06-21-2017 03:17 PM

Well, right now I'm in the throes of menopause. So I KNOW weird stuff is going to happen. But knowing, and figuring out what's what while it is, is hard work. LOL
