Y-Yes, I am. *small nod* I... I mostly work with silk...
What style of clothes do you make?
I... I like to make Victorian-style clothing... The dresses back then were so pretty.
Oh I agree with you Koprina. Those clothes were beautiful!
I agree as well. Modern clothes sure are practical, but in old times fashion showed much more elegance.
I have a crapton of Victorian-era patterns. I'm also collecting references for Viking era stuff, Regency era stuff, Elizabethan era stuff and Edwardian era stuff... Someday, I'll be able to make clothing from those patterns, and fill my closet with pretty and practical clothes.
Beautiful!
also the vikings... in my mind I saw them more as fur-wearers xD |
That would've probably been more of a winter thing for them.
ooooh such awesomeness, den ^__^
I think I fell in love with Victorian clothing because of reading Barbara Cartland romances when I was a preteen.
Pinterest makes it easier for me to find stuff relevant to my interests... I've always loved playing dress-up, so...
i love victorian attire , but it's super impractical for me. do love swing dresses though.
Impractical, how? *curious* If it's impractical like my problem (I don't fit standard clothing sizes. I'm two to four dress sizes smaller at the shoulders and bust compared to my hips, and I have a short trunk), it's a fixable thing.
umm...i don't really know how to explain the impracticality of it. sorry, den >___<
No worries. *gentle snuggles, tucks into a blanket nest*
It's impratical in Brazil... so hot xD
