It took a long time to get started but if you can wrap your head around everything it's really very deep and intriguing.

This Month's items are so much better than any other sites.
It's the only site I donated to since they were so amazing.

Whatever your artists are doing? KEEP DOING IT!!

Seriously, you kick other sites out of the freaking water.

I dont want be mean when I say this but all the rune items look like 2500 aurum items.

I like the penguin though ^.^

I would first like to point out that you haven't included why you think this way, or what can be done to improve. This results in the artists not being able to take your opinion and next month you will probably feel the same displeasure. I also ask you to clarify what you exactly mean by that. It's not very specific.

However, I will take a stab in the dark and assume you mean the lack of colour options or poses, because it was something that I consciously dialled back. This was a decision I purposely took for 2 reasons.

1. Old DIs had less poses and colours.
I understand Trisphee has evolved since the start, but after Alex spoke out about it, I started to take it seriously. There is no reason why we can't go back to smaller DI sizes. There's no reason to not split up ONE GIANT DI into 2 smaller DIs. In fact... wouldn't we stand to gain more profit from similar sister items than 1 big one?

2. We just don't have a lot of artists.
For me, smaller DIs mean a lesser load on what little artists we DO have. Last thing I want is anyone being overworked, including myself. We have designers and flat artists. We also have staff learning to be full pixel artists.. but until then, we remain understaffed and less poses can help ease the burden a bit.
Cyber Reaper was mainly BLACK with smaller hints of only 3 colour variations.
USB Sword was very simple as well with 3 colour variants.

I'm not saying that we should go back to very simple and tiny DIs.. I'm just thinking that dialling back a little wouldn't hurt.

I'm sorry that you feel its not up to your standards. If there's any suggestions you have for my end, feel free to leave them. Please note that I don't decide which item becomes the ADI and which is the RDI; I only do the pixelling. However since the items I pixelled became the RDI this time around, I feel semi-responsible.

I feel you absolutely made the right choice Duchess. And a smaller number of poses means the poses that are created have more details and extra attention given to them. It's better all around.

^ This. Definitely this. ^

Time for my five cents >.>
While the items are cute I think I agree with Duchess. I rather liked the old items like the Reaper and Woodland Archer (both items i know i have well over 10 of each). Most of the new ones i have maybe 5 at most probably less if they didn't pick my fancy.

Personally this months items weren't on my questing list ^^; not my style but they are still cute and well done so im not going to bash them just because i'd never use them :3 besides enough other people like them to make up for me hehe

Thank you. :)

But it's all true, the artists here are not stuck up, in love with themselves, or passive aggressive. They still talk to us and don't hide from their creations.

What I love most about the artists is that they are steadfastly not sending out something half shaded, weird colors, rushed, ETC.

You can tell they spent real time on the items. Out of all the sites I go to, Gaia, Ernya, Solia, The items here don't look mass produced as if it was on an assembly line. Things here are not annoyingly kawaii, they don't look like paper doll cut outs, Trisphee doesn't have artists that could care less or want you to "feel their pain of having to make art for a living"

So I will appreciate the you know what out of this site until all that changes. I hope that never changes but if Trisphee gets huge, it will whether we like it or not. *sad*

It's been a while since I mentioned that, but yes, it would be nice to see the item poses split up a bit. There really are way too many in single items now.

I wish I could Participate in being a Trisphee artist but I have no idea how to Pixelate, or even if the designs even looks good

Espy 12-04-2011 06:43 PM

Honestly, this month's DIs aren't my favorites, but then again, not everyone was happy when Caped Avenger and Brave Victory (more my style) came out.

Size doesn't matter too much to me...ok, well, maybe the USB Sword, Seabreeze, and Feather Folk were a bit small. LoKI was a nice-sized DI, IMO.

I'd chime in with the "making more money" thing, but I can't donate in the first thing, sooooo...yeah. Haha.

@Belial: ....there are artists who're in love with themselves?

Yup

Some sites have artists who compete as to who's item is rarer. So the artists here are soo much classier.
