The site wasn't locking up due to the game. It was locking up due to other stuff happening on the server -- stuff we don't actually care about but was running by default. I turned off all of the stuff we weren't using. Turns out that running stats on a site this active can consume a lot of resources! The changes to the game were a just-in-case measure intended to prove that it wasn't the game that was causing the trouble in the first place.

Ah, I see (sorta).
It all sounds very technical ~Kat runs away to hide, screaming "ARGH! Technology! It frightens me!" and manages to run face-first into a brick wall~ *ouchie* Whichever way you did it, I has a happeh that the lock-ups have become less frequent *nod* I haven't been well for the last 2 weeks, and every time I had the energy to be on Tris, it was down :/ Today is the first day that I haven't had that problem :3 Soooo... do we get ANY hints on the surprise item/bundle? Just little stuff that doesn't actually give away what the thing is, but maybe hints on when it will be revealed, which currency it will take to buy it (Water? Rations? Unopened Rubie, treasures, or Ruby/Treasure combo? And how much currency it will cost (so that people know how much to save up ^_~). Comments? :3 |
Yeah, I doubt that they'll tell us. I've been trying to get stuff out of the staff, but it doesn't seem like they know any deets yet either. =w=

I know. :P And that's stuff I wonder about, but I'd much rather have the items revealed than be told early on what to expect price-wise. >.>
