Choco meganium is my favorite x'D but he is indeed the worst starter sadly. (And this is coming from someone who absolutely adores him)
The main problem is that Meganium's ability to tank is limited thanks to a small movepool, a god awful ability for a tank, and no reliable recovery move. Grass type is also probably the worst typing for a defensive type :c
Im /really/ hoping he gets a mega evo so he can actually be possibly used in competitive play or just make him good at all. :"c


Also my favorite starters (like in a general generation) os gen 2 x'D I absolutely love them all. <3 though gen 6 is starting to become my favorite slowly. I have to see the. Evo line first



Also!!! In gen 6 you get 2 starters (well three if you get the torchic event with the mega stone thing) you get 1 gen 6 starter and I gen 1 starter! Isn't that awesome?!?!

and that is weird, i have had great luck with him compared to the other two and i am not really into grass-types but yeah, it has been canon since the start to get three and that bothers me, you also don't get a new-gen starter set which is lame and arikana is right, mewtwo is not even a legitimate pokemon it is a tweaked clone to a non-evolving pokemon, it should /not/ have an evo form that is against the laws of reason XD

No you misunderstand. You /get/ a new gen starter. You ALSO get a gen 1 starter lol.

Then if you get the event pokemon (torchic) you can start off with 3 starters!
(Of course without restarting the game and trading to get all lol)

yeah, the movepool sucks a bit, but it can take a fair ammount of hits if you rais it right and if it is fast enough you can one-hit-ko a lot of trainer's pokemon

except with different gens and you get 2 from different professors I think(don't quote me on that.) The third is from gen 3 and you can only get that from the event they are having after the game is released so if you decide to restart your game ages from now you wont be able to get a torchic to start with :c

You'd want to train SpD instead.
He has his ups and downs (many... many downs) but again I still love the crap out of meganium. <3 he will always be the starter I pick for gen 2 first (I do love all gen 2 starters. But I always have a tough time /not/ picking him) qwq
