yeah, but very frustrating, because I'm one size on top, but below the waist, I'm a whole different size... so my local friend and I will have to make the biggest size of the dress pattern I'm using, and alter the crap out of it to fit right... and then there's the whole hassle of working with faux fur (my character has a cape and a furry capelet she wears when going places...) |
Well, I can't really talk with all that. I run myself ragged when I get into a costume project. You should have seen me after cutting 100 paper plates for my wings last week, only to realize they only covered 1/5th of what I needed.

I've never had art commissioned before, except as art prizes from something. A friend is doing one of my OCs for me for free (she normally charges) because I helped read through her comic and pointed out some corrections to be made. I didn't even know she was going to do that, and told her she didn't need to since I know she makes a living off of them, but she said she wanted to, so yeah.
