Is that a clown phobia I spot?

CupcakeDolly 10-27-2015 06:30 PM

-creepy clown laugh-

Salone 10-27-2015 06:34 PM

I wouldn't go as far as to say phobia. Definitely not a phobia. No no, my phobias are...different.

Clowns are just wrong on a fundamental level. Those big bald heads, exagerrated face paint. That unhinged, illogical excitement at nonsenical humor that makes it impossible to reason with a clown. Those eyes. That grin. That awful...awful side hair.

The clown is dead. Anything calling itself a clown today is a twisted mockery of innocence lost. Woe be to you who would tolerate a clown.

I am actually afraid of wasps.

Tohopekaliga 10-27-2015 06:36 PM

Wasps are dicks.

CupcakeDolly 10-27-2015 06:37 PM

-takes notes and plans wasp/clown avi outfit-

Exactly. Wasps are the Dodge Rams of the insect world. No matter if you get close or they get close, they instantly take offense. Nothing should be able to sting you multiple times. But yeah no in my old delivery job I used to deliver to a guy who had a house covered in wasps. I had two massive cans of projectile RAID and every delivery was pretty much a PTSD John Woo film.

Glitch 10-27-2015 07:14 PM

I also hate wasps, but, wasp item incoming.

Well if that's how that goes, I also have a phobia of Pangolins and receiving large amounts of aurum.

Glitch 10-27-2015 08:35 PM

Hahaha tell Dolly about that one xD

Lawtan 10-27-2015 08:43 PM

*Carries a basket with a Pangolin, Clown Doll, and Japanese Wasp*
Oops...now the links are all mixed up...

CupcakeDolly 10-27-2015 08:48 PM

I have a fear of WASPS. Those people throw great dinner parties, but their passive aggressive attitudes are downright chilly.

You've gone too far.

CupcakeDolly 10-27-2015 09:10 PM

The fridge is currently occupied by children.
I just assume shrooms have something to do with... clowning.

Lawtan 10-27-2015 09:14 PM

Forgive me

On the clown subject, I had a roommate who went to clown school for her high school senior project and is a certified clown. Only It-esque clowns who are made for the sole purpose of being creepy, and parodies of clowns shown in the media, are actually creepy or weird. Actual clowns are pretty cool.

Salone 10-27-2015 09:28 PM

I think the thing that bothers me is that they're really just regular people with the people thoughts and desires and such. Like I know they're actors, but something feels like a clown should be a separate entity.

Lucid: 10-27-2015 09:32 PM

Hmmm, yeah, I can see that. You don't have the physical separation from them like you do with movie or stage actors. They're RIGHT THERE, interacting with you.

Ashy 10-28-2015 12:35 AM

Clowns are pretty creepy but im not exactly scared of them, if one was trying to kill me id be frightened though. I guess thats the same with people regardless of what theyre wearing xD

Salone 10-28-2015 01:46 AM

Now if you want to see something scary, once upon a time I had a particularly creepy delivery that I took video of because I genuinely thought I might not make it back. Late at night, patient was deaf and I had to absolutely make sure that they took their meds. House was in the middle of the woods 40 minutes from any town. If anyone is interested in seeing what creepy looks like, I can deffo show you.

Glitch 10-28-2015 01:59 AM

this is an R rated video isn't it Salone.

Also. I used to be super afraid of mascots, I still don't entirely trust them.

Some light swearing in the beginning, is all actually, but I was scared as hell at the time. Have no idea how creepy it is to be completely isolated and alone surrounded by woods. Aaand it can be found here if you dare!

Glitch 10-28-2015 02:19 AM

Catching up on the walking dead. I am so devastated.

I just. . . I am so sad.

ml1201 10-28-2015 07:30 AM

I know quite a few people that like that show. O.o

Glitch 10-28-2015 12:12 PM

That's because it's great! ^.^

ml1201 10-28-2015 12:56 PM

I'm not much for zombies so I don't watch it. ^^;

Glitch 10-28-2015 01:38 PM

hey no worries <3

ml1201 10-28-2015 02:49 PM

But one of my friends has a zombie deck for Magic the Gathering. x'D

Lawtan 10-28-2015 03:10 PM

I prefer ghosts to zombies...unless the "Zombie" is more science fiction Cthulhu-esq or a corpse turned into a hive for another creature. (Alias - Fungi-zombies, Virus & Nano Zombies, and Bug-zombies)

Glitch 10-28-2015 03:51 PM

Kind of like in that video game....... Last of us??

Lawtan 10-28-2015 04:16 PM

Yep. That's the one. Mix Last of Us with something like Parasite: Eve...maybe a little Dead Space or Resident Evil...more Silent Hill...

Lucid: 10-28-2015 06:25 PM

I don't watch The Walking Dead either. I tried one episode, once. Zombies aren't really my thing but I don't necessarily shun them...but the blood-and-guts was just too much for poor little me. As great as the story is, I just didn't like the show.

When I watch scary stuff, I much prefer the mystery-suspense-thriller type.

Lawtan 10-28-2015 06:28 PM

^This

Poes and Woes, Doyles and Boils...

Sei 10-28-2015 06:55 PM

I also prefer mystery and suspense when it comes to scary stuff. *nods*

Gallagher 10-28-2015 09:20 PM

I love zombies, but I'm more fond of new-age zombies than any other kind. That is, the ones that retain their own minds, or can regain their minds when certain requirements are met. I love the Sonny games, I love Warm Bodies, I love iZombie. My life is zombies. Not even scary zombies, just zombies.

ml1201 10-28-2015 09:22 PM

See, I don't mind the cyber thing in Soma, I just see them as robots or something. ^^;

Glitch 10-29-2015 12:24 AM

I love izombie soso much xD
