I sort of agree with Raster, but would keep some humans in a dedicated area. It's always sad when a species vanishes completely.

You would need to keep and eye on the humans if you keep a few around. I hear they can reproduce relatively quick, and sometimes on accident. Don't want an infestation on your hands, do you?

That's my point. If you want to get rid of the humans, you got to get rid of all the humans. Not the majority and leave some as pets. All of them so those few don't become pests.

Yeah. A few years ago I heard people were trying to figure out if it was possible for two women to have a child. As in: is it possible to create a child using DNA only from two women. The answer was something like, yes. But the child will be female and can only reproduce using the same procedure as how she was created.
But... I could have dreamed that up.

That doesn’t make sense to me... she’d be XX, and be a “normal” human being... wonder how sterility would happen.

I'm not a scientist. It was explained somehow, but it mostly boils down to how the process works. That being said, it could have just been a dream. Hella of a weird one tho.

there would be no more or less sterility than in any other child. the child would though, in our current definition of things be a type of somatic clone as the genes would come from an adult doner's genes and not a standard reproduction packet

It's got to do with the magic of stem cells. IDK what that would mean for the child conceived.

But yeah, it wouldn't make sense if the child was unable to reproduce like their peers. Then again... science = witchcraft
