I wish I didn't have so many damn likes on Tumblr! It'd be easier to find it! ;A;

Yeah, that was the one I was referencing. Might try to find it later. Damn good thread.

mdom 09-28-2019 01:10 AM

bluolet

sorry that was stronger than me

Ava 09-28-2019 01:30 AM

I wish I could find it...
I have way too many things in my likes on tumblr.

And I'm getting rather sleepy D:

littl3chocobo 09-28-2019 03:09 AM

i've seen white aubergine but that doesnt look like eggs either where i am from XD more like old lightbulbs

well, some breeds of violet are blue. like roses they come in many hues(white, purple, blue, lavender, striped, pinkish)

did you know apples and roses are part of the same family of plants? and there are nearly twice as many breeds of apples as there are seats in parliament?

Espy 09-28-2019 03:39 AM

I have figured out how to make citrus vodka taste less like citrus-scented soap and the answer is to add lemon juice

littl3chocobo 09-28-2019 04:07 AM

hahaha, more citrusy = add citrus? XD

Espy 09-28-2019 04:09 AM

the tartness blocks out most of the soapy feel

edit; as well as everythhinh else tbh

littl3chocobo 09-28-2019 04:19 AM

why not just eat lemons? meyer lemons are fucking swell with a little clotted cream~

Espy 09-28-2019 04:20 AM

1.) i don’t have lemons

2.) wth is clotted cream, that sounds gross

3.) i’ve had a terrible three weeks

littl3chocobo 09-28-2019 04:21 AM

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clotted_cream here ya' go

Espy 09-28-2019 04:23 AM

...huh. Looks like a cross between butter and heavy cream

littl3chocobo 09-28-2019 04:27 AM

yeah only it is steamed instead of churned so it's not as clumpy and butter-tasting. it's pretty fine with toast and jam

Espy 09-28-2019 04:28 AM

hmm. maybe i’ll try it at some point

littl3chocobo 09-28-2019 04:30 AM

i recommend it ^^ *thumbs up*

Did you know if you replace certain politicians with apples, the overall quality of the government might increase? :p-innocent:

Espy 09-28-2019 05:02 AM

did you know that politicians, like APPLES, ARE VULNERABLE TO STABBING

Stabbsworth 09-28-2019 09:38 AM

hell, even lemons would be better.

i'd appreciate it if we could replace the PM with a fuckin lemon.

Mekatra 09-28-2019 05:46 PM

In addition to being stabable just like apples (and I guess lemons) the average politician goes bad and begins to rot from the inside out rather quickly.

mdom 09-28-2019 06:28 PM

They're more poisonous than apples tho
like the cyanide to deliciousness is the direct opposite

littl3chocobo 09-28-2019 10:43 PM

can we petition to get old bojo replaced with a lemon? X''D

Burnt Rice 09-29-2019 01:33 AM

Why are y'all getting so upset with the lemons? Lemons make fish taste 10x's better. Good for lemonade. Have you ever tried squirting lemon into someones eyes? Great entertainment if you can run fast enough!

littl3chocobo 09-29-2019 04:16 AM

nah, fam. lemons are great, it is boris johnson that we take umbrage with

also i got chastised for calling my junk 'wee boris johnson' apparently the fact that it looks disheveled and noone wants to see it in public is not sufficient for calling it that x''D

Burnt Rice 09-29-2019 12:02 PM

I figured. Just feel bad for the lemons to be dragged into this.
I was also a bit confused as to what PM stood for. Thought y'all talking Canada and was softly shaking my head.

littl3chocobo 09-29-2019 12:25 PM

prime minister X''D

Stabbsworth 09-29-2019 01:45 PM

think i'd take cyanide over the current PM.

did you know that cucumbers contain enough cyanide to kill a cockroach, and still be safe for us to eat?

Ava 09-29-2019 05:45 PM

Have you guys heard that song, "Lemon Tree" by Peter, Paul and Mary?

I personally, love lemons!

mdom 09-29-2019 06:00 PM

Can't believe cockroaches survive an atomic bomb but not cucumbers

Ava 09-29-2019 06:10 PM

I've never even seen a real life cockroach before!!!! :O

At least, not IRL

But I really don't want to see one either!

MonBon 09-29-2019 06:28 PM

I remember map colors. If I recall correctly though, magic markers was a brand of markers and so like kleenex just became the name

Death by Mirrors 09-29-2019 07:44 PM

Pfft, cucumber? I don't buy it.
Cockroaches are goddamn superheroes. They can tolerate 900 times their own weight, their tolerance to insectizide increases with every generation, they can breathe through their body and don't even need their head to survive. Why on earth would cucumber be their kryptonite?!

mdom 09-29-2019 10:58 PM

Not cucumber, just the cyanide xDD

Ava, never come to Brazil then xDDD

Ava 09-30-2019 05:28 PM

Oof!

Mom told me that in Hawai'i they have huge cockroaches in the summer ;-;
There's giant beetles here in Los Angeles and I can't stand them...

Strangely, though, I could never kill them D:

Espy 09-30-2019 05:56 PM

-snort- You don’t even need to be in Brazil. Just find any heckin communal housing environment and get a few housemates (like me) who don’t throw shit out regularly.

mdom 09-30-2019 06:09 PM

... why don't you don't throw shit out regularly????

My house is pretty clean, but somehow when it's hot cockroaches still come out because they're the true owners of the place I guess

Espy 09-30-2019 06:13 PM

Executive dysfunction.

mdom 09-30-2019 06:19 PM

oooh damn, true. when I was in college/uni we always had a cleaning lady |D

Espy 09-30-2019 06:27 PM

Back when I was in traditional style dorms, we had a housekeeper for the communal areas. Suite bathrooms and rooms, though? That’s all on you.

At AZ, though, my housing situation has either been something like a studio apartment with a shared kitchen (bugs went through the entire building via pipes; I kept the kitchen pretty tidy but they still liked using it as a pit stop on their way to the end rooms), or an actual small house w two housemates.

Death by Mirrors 09-30-2019 06:30 PM

Man, I'd just teach my cockroaches to tap dance and start a roach revue.

mdom 09-30-2019 06:30 PM

Bathrooms are the areas that need cleaning the most tho!!

Espy 09-30-2019 06:35 PM

Nothing for cockroaches to eat in bathrooms.
